Of course it would!! Whatever we did. The thing is that none of us on here are judgemental, so I dont think we would sit there thinking 'oooh can they afford that' we'd just get on and enjoy it. Best idea is when each person has something to bring and chill out with films and wine and chat.
My mum suggested an idea that she'd heard, get 5 people to buy enough ingredients for 10 family sized meals (i.e 1 person buys mince and potatoes for shepherds pie, another lasagne etc) and every person makes up 10 family sized meals then they all swap.. basically all you would have to do is bulk buy and make one meal 10 times, and you'd end up with 10 different meals in the freezer to last a fortnight... I think that'd be cool, but dont know 5 people who live near enough to do it!!Personal challenge: Do without as much as possible to pay off £12k by 07/2009!!!:T

I'm going home in 25 minutes.... well stopping off at mums first to pick up a dress from her, then going to get home, salt rub my legs, shower, shave my legs for the first time in 3 days:eek:, lotion and potion all over, straighten my hair, spritz perfume all over like it costs nothing
and then go out for my birthday meal with my DH

If we had to meet up a central location would need to be thought of - I think that yorkshire would be good, or the lake district. What do you all think of that sort of area. Would probably need to be next year though, I'm skint!!!
