Thanks! Yes, thankfully he gutted and de headed them for me as I am quite squeamish. Husband now chopping and wrapping them in parcment paper as we speak.
Great suggestion to chop them up, and yes have a fast freeze so shall pop that on.
How nice is my neighbour!
The last time I cooked them I popped some lemon and dill inside and wrapped in foil and baked it, any better suggestions would be great. Thanks again for the advice.0 -

I spotted some fresh Market Value trout in my Mr T recently that's quite cheap (as fresh fish goes anyway) but I have not a clue what I could do with it. Any healthy and cheap recipes I could try please? So, there are these boys,

Ohhhhh, I love trout & haven't had for ages - might just have to pop & get some.
Really easy one from me ... bit of tinfoil with some butter smeared in the middle. Place the trout onto it, dash of lemon or lime juice over the top & some sea salt. Make into a parcel and bake for around 30 mins @ 180 deg .... yum!Grocery Challenge £211/£455 (01/01-31/03)
