  • i have been holding for 31 minutes now!!

    i sent my letter of complaint and it was finally acknowledged - i got a phonecall last night to tell me to ring another number & they would send out the jiffy bag & ran

    din'y have my imei number handy so rang there 40 mins ago to be told that again i was through to the wrong department & given another number to ring

    the girl at the other ened of the line has now told me that i can't cancel my contract - so i explained the phonecalls from last night - she said there weer no notes so she suggested ringing Technical Support & asking them to update my notes!!! - i refused & she said she would transfer me through!:confused:

    the bloody cheek of it!!! i hate 3 with a passion!!!!! its now 35minutes, should i hang up and try technical support myself????!!!

    end of my thether!!!!(if thats how its spelt!!!):mad:

    they will defo be getting a copy of my phone me to re-imburse me!!!:rotfl:

    I thought I'd let you know the latest on this

    3 actually have a member of staff that know what they are doing, he was very clear and very concise with his requests and after 20 minutes on the phone I now have internet.

    Now I want to know as i was given such shoddy advice previously (the 3 guy said this problem was a simple query and should have been sorted out ages ago) as I went through 10 months of nothing and being charged £25 for the privledge am I able to put a claim in for the months where I was internetless?

    3 are very easy to hate. I am unable to connect using their mobile broadband service, but the connect button is greyed out on the connection software. How difficult can they make it to answer what should be a simple query?:mad:

    Analyst, looking on here I found the 3 chief exec email address and have told him everything, see what happens!!!
    Not expecting much but I put in the legal advice I recieved so fingers crossed. 3 are awful, wouldnt touch them with a barge pole

    I am sure there are previous threads regarding this, infact i read a few, but there were no outcomes!
    I have had the ZTE (black and green coloured) '3' mobile broadband for around 4 months. It worked straight out of the box for about 2 of them, then for two months i have tried unsuccesfully to get it fixed! It stopped without warning one day, and i had not ammended the settings or programs on my computer. It just doesnt seem to have ANY software inside. I have been given my modem back on 5 seperate occasions aparently 'repaired' and i quote , ''checked and guaranteed'' but it has never worked. They now gave me a 'new' one. (it might be a refurb), and still nothing. The customer service is pretty good - polite and at least seemingly leading to a conclusion, but its nothing more than troubleshooting..I have read that some pepole have experienced lots of problems with the software installation ..Has anyone tried the 'white' modem from '3' .Is it better ?- it is a diffeernt make. the service seems very intermittent , or in mycase completely zero.

    I've installed 2 different E220 ones (both white) and an E160 (also white) on different laptops and have not had any problems thus far. The E160 software seems to be different, at least in terms of the user interface, to the E220. Both models are the Huawei make. I think they do these in black too (but would hope the outer colour wouldn't affect the operation :D )

    You will get a response from his Executive Office,they are normally very helpful.
    I emailed 3 on Sunday, got a reply on Monday saying it will be passed on and someone will get in touch, half hour later I got the reply saying it will take 10 days to investigate, I emailed them again today just to ask what the investigation consists of and about 30 minutes ago I got a call from the scottish offices saying they are cancelling my contract from today (which was due to run til June 09) and are reimbursing me the money I had paid out 10 months of £25 so happy days

    mmmm.....was just recently looking to purchasse the pay as you go mobile broadband dongle from 3...but after reading this thread, im not so sure!!! :S
    it seems that, as long as you are in the right area, they work fine?
    with the pay as you go dongle, ive been told that i can top-up as mich or little as i want for the intial 39.99 payment for the dongle.....surey this would be fine?????

    so, you have the pay and go dongle? can you enlighten me a bit on it.? still not 100% about ti?
