£100 for joining Alliance + Leicester

Just rang A&L because I forgot my password - is it just me or do you have to remember a lot of passwords and PINs and other numbers to access this account?!- The woman I spoke to was lovely but she blocked my PIN instead of clearing my password so now I can't access my account online until they send me a new PIN in the post! God knows how long that'll take!

Hi Yes you do have to remeber a lot for a&l But so far i have found there customer services good.

doesnt seem like anyones got the £100 yet?

tempted to cancel this switch if their not paying out as advertised.

I just received my £25 referral bonus about a week after my first deposit over £500 in the account. According to the terms of their website at the time, I think it will be up to another 11 weeks before the £100 incentive is paid (12 weeks from the first £500+ deposit if I remember correctly)

It's taking some time to effect the transfer, and my account is an Abbey one so you would expect it to be a little more straightforwad! Still a good deal I think for those of us who got it on time...

I got the £100 and I also got £50 for going through quidco. The £100 was credited to my account about a week ago

I opened this account the end of september and opted to use the premier switching service, as far as im aware my standing orders and direct debits have been transferred to this account and i received a letter two weeks ago saying that they had written to my employer to switch my salary to the account. I have not yet funded this account and my money remains in my original current account. If i remember correctly the first £500 has to be deposited with 11 weeks of account opening. How long will i have to wait for the £100 bonus if i put it in £500 next week.

I was told that the £100 is credited to your account 1 month after the date you put in your £500. If thats correct then mine should be in on the 8th of nov.

The information on their website was, if I recall correctly, "within 12 weeks of account opening".

I enqiured with their customer services dept and was told 1 month after the £500. I thought you had to fund it with the £500 within 12 weeks of account opening. Oh well, time will tell!

The initial £500 had to be paid in less than 12 weeks (6 weeks rings a bell but I can't be sure of the exact timescale, as I just paid it in as soon as I had the account details) whether or not your salary was being transferred to the Premier account.
