I love him to bits and cant help spoiling him! We buy frozen meat for him which are 69p each for 454g pack these are beef mince, beef and tripe mince, chicken and heart mince, and variations of each, he has one of these per day plus 2 smallish scoops of mixer which we get from aldi i believe its around £2 this lasts about a month, he also has toast, ham, cheese, tuna, leftovers pretty much anything, Oh and dog treats!!
we've tried most dog foods found pedigree chum a bit to heavy and rich for him, he seems really happy on the food we give him now. I dont think it would cost you to much to feed a pug around £20 should be enough including the odd treat.
When are you getting him/her? Have you thought of a name yet? xx***** on the road to debt freedom *****

Bella!! I have just had to cover my pups eyes or she will be wanting the same diet as yours lol.
I only use dried food which is what was recommended to us by a few breeders and she seems to be blossoming on it. Only problem I have found is she drinks for England and has rather smelly trumps lol (writing that made me feel about 4 years old :rotfl: )Proud to be dealing with my debts - DFW No: 712

I do spoil him but i have tried dry food and he just turns his nose up at it, i've tried the dried food with meaty chunks and he eats the meaty chunks and leaves the biscuits lol!!!
At least with the meat it doesnt go to waste he gobbles the lot down! My little lad also saves part of his meals for the dog, he loves weetabix!!!
and i understand about the smelly pumps and always when we have guests haha!!!! xx***** on the road to debt freedom *****

Well hopefully will get him (want a male dog) for Christmas YAY! So if my mum is reading this......
Dont mind what colour he is, fawn or black, and we're going to call him Gordon Ramsay LOL
But I let DH have the name picking, as I want the pup, so he said Gordon (he loves ramsay! Lol).....
God I had been budgetting about £40 for him LOL, so its nice to get peoples feedback, especially as you both have breeds bigger than a pug would be...
Woooowoooo for the second star Bella....Wealth is not measured by currency0 -
