Hi CAFCgirl, I remember you were a regular on here when I first joined MSE. I was pregnant at the time and now have a 16 month old boy. I took a full year off work, its amazing what you prioritise differently when your a mum.
I am also jealous you been to NYC a lot. I love it, I spent a lot of time there in 1999 and have been back a few times since. Proper jealous.
My cravings were quite normal at first - weetabix, apple juice, tomato soup, then I started getting craving for love heart sweets!
    Good luck

    OH MY GOD:eek:

it is the bane of my life! grrrrrrrrrrr:mad:
I made 3 online payments last month, the last one being on the 18th, one on the 12th and one on the 6th of August and they are still showing as the clearing..
And generally once every 3 log ons it says the system is offline.... it's enough to send a woman over the edge!

Painted - Hi Hun Glad to see you back on the boards Congrats (albeit 16 months late) on baby. I'm pretty determined I'll take the full year and then see if my company will offer me anything, if not, and OH is in decent pay then not work for a while

So far today I've had a really good day and no sickness.:T was superb, work didnt drag, so positive day.... lets hope tomorrow is as sicky free :o

On sad news today Oh found out he wont be able to join the fire service due to his eyesight, so hes been a little bit sad today, understandable as its been his life long dream....

    Bella hun,

I can totally sympathise with the hormonal thing.... I was desperate to just come home, get into bed and whimper to myself last night but instead had to be the positive ray of light and laughter for OH after his news.
Keep tryin to tell him it's not the end of his chances of becoming a full time fire fighter, we'll just have to pay off more debt and then get him some laser vision correction and then he'll be tickety boo and can apply again. At least he's proved to himself he can get this far.

Have woken up with an absolute bi&8h of a headache, soon as I woke up. My morning feels really weird, my alarm on my phone wouldnt sound, the screen just lit up... just as well I generally wake up just in time for my alarm!
Am tempted (as this seems to happen a lot) to just get a regular alarm, only problem is I do like a snooze button so wouldnt be dirt cheap I imagine... might have a look today on my lunch break.

Also must remember to complete our food order online tonight, poor hubby must be dying.... although there is stuff he could eat..... but Im not sure marmite on pickled onions with custard is his idea of haute cuisine...

Hope my headache clears up with a walk to work, others might be doing the ring round to get some cover in.... just when i thought the sickness might be going... it gets replaced with headaches... grrrrr

Morning CAFC. Booooooo to headaches. Hopefully it will clear with some fresh air.

Sorry about hubby he must be gutted. LIke you said though he has proved he can do it. Good idea about the laser eye op when you are debt free, hopefully it will be a motivation for him.

So whats his plan now on the job front?

He's got a trial day tomorrow with a full time sales assistants job he went for, so hopefully that will work out. told him retailers dont normally ask for a trial day unless they're pretty sure they want to give you the job.
So that'll pay £6.15 (i think of £6.25) an hour so thats gonna help out quite a bit. Even if we use his total wages for the rent/bills and then I concentrate on the debts/food etc we'll do much better.

Still waiting for 2 payments from ebay to clear as well which is irritating and looks like one guy isnt going to pay and thats £100 we've lost....

Thats good news sounds like he has the job in the bag. Fingers crossed for him that cash will make such a difference for you.

Don't forget to do a non paying bidder thingie on the bloke on Ebay so you get your fees back and he gets a strike against him.

Cheap listing day on Thursday this week if you have anymore bits to go on.
