HTC Touch Diamond is in many peoples opinion a better phone , 3G, auto focus camera, GPS and microsoft compatible
find a few deals at google with 'upfront cashback' --you get the cash after connecting to the network after the first month http://www.google.co.uk/search?hl=en&q=htc+touch+diamond+upfront+cashback&btnG=Search&meta=0 -

So is the unfortunate fact that it's got a sealed-in battery and no expansion card facilty...
Why would it need an expansion card? You don't want one in an ipod? And this is more about the ipod than the phone.. that's just added functionality!
As for the battery... same argument as above...[FONT=Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif]"The internet is a great way to get on the net."

I have a TTYN 2 but getting an iphone next week. Windows Mobile just isn't as nice and the device itself is a lot chunkier and businessy looking, rather than a nice classy iphone.[FONT=Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif]"The internet is a great way to get on the net."

It's not a big improvement over 1st gen, it feels more bulky as well.... I'm gonna give my 1st gen one to my gf or jailbreak for 2.00

well when the iphone 3.0 comes out in another 12 months time it may save you the cash if you can expand your phone , but true a minority of people upgrade their memory in laptops for example before the thing becomes old and needs an upgrade, so for mobile phones i would say it is an even smaller amount of people. ha ha like i said save your money and buy another mobile with MORE features that are cheaper0
