Depends where the bad credit is listed, LLoyds use Experian and that is it, if the bad word is on CC or EQFX then they will not know...;)

I don't understand a word of this post. You heard of punctuation mate?
  • I have been considering opening an account with Think Banking, which carry out no credit checks and say they will accept anyone, yet they charge a one-off set up fee of £25 plus a monthly charge of £12.50.

Don't. They're a poor basic bank account with no facility for Direct Debits (when pretty much every bank offers a BBA with a DD facility) coupled with an especially poor prepay credit card. You'd get the same, and in fact more, functionality getting just a simple BBA with a cashpoint card coupled with something like the PayPal topup card. It'd cost you far, far less, if not nothing.

    It was the ReadyCash account!!

that's why Im so narked.... A&L have continually credit scored me when they shouldnt so its showing as multiple credit searches (among other things)... even the lady on the phone (bless her, she was lovely and actually rather helpful) was disgusted at how A&L have acted - she kept apologising and I said 'it's alright!' she said 'it's not though... you've really been messed around!'

I may now have open a cash-card account at somewhere like HSBC and just downgrade my A&L account so I can keep the card... I dont trust them with my money anymore!
