Tesco are selling off discontinued lines to make way for Christmas stock. They are doing SanDisk SD memory cards 2GB for £8.97. Kingston 1GB SD for £4.98. Both brands have a variety of 1GB/2GB/4GB. In the aisle with the mobile phone display is where I found them.

I have brought both these items and they work great in my PSP ( both slim and original versions) so I would assume that this combination will work in any device that supports 8gb Memory Stick Pro Duo.
I have used Dealextreme for loads of bits and never had an issue with them.

I got a 8gb flash usb stick off ebay for around 16 quid (inc p+p)
Its by 'elephant memory' and is supposed to have 'samsung' chips in it. Been working great upto now
I also got a 4gb for 9 quid off ebay also with samsung chips in it.

At the end of the day though, cheap is NOT necessarily the best as ive a 1gb that came free with a mag that become corrupted as soon as I used it!
Look whats inside first (and of course the speed)

Usually your camera will do that and if it cant then chances are it wont work with your camera im afraid (Perhaps it wont accept 2 gig?)

To format elsewhere you need to find someone with a computer with the required slot and format on there.

I recently bagged 1 GB PNY SD Memory in my local Tesco store for £4.97. They had a couple of different brands for around that price. What with all this money saving and getting my 5p off a litre as well I didn't even have to pay for delivery.

i always use www.memorybits.com Ive used them lots of times and they have always been very cheap for me and they seem to have allot of special offers on also i have used www.play.com but they are little more expensive.

Now http://www.7dayshop.com are FREE DELIVERY ON EVERYTHING! That just about makes them the cheapest for most memory cards out there - for instance Toshiba SD 2gb at £3.39 delivered or a crazy offer for 5 at £13.49.
Many more silly deals like this to be found too.
I for one am happy that they have removed the prohibitive £3.95 postage as now I can just order straight away without building towards an order.
