Hi Folks!! Is it just me or has the good old days of finding last minute deals gone out of the window?! There used to be sites that did REAL deals for holidays leaving the next day, but now it seems you can't find anything anywhere at cheap money as before. Even if you try googling holidays leaving tomorrow, all the usual suspects and bigboys crop up! Is there still such a thing as genuine next day bargains!? There must be something out there......

Look at holiday hypermarket, Thomas Cook, Direct Holidays, Cosmos, Thomson and familiarise yourself with how you can search on them.

I have been thinking exactly the same thing as you dannyshutters, last minute deals seem much more expensive this year. Anyone know of any good deals from Cardiff/Bristol going anywhere sunny for 2 adults for a week? Can leave 28th June and need to be back for the 11th july. Have been looking around but am now considering leaving it until the day before and just hoping for the best.

Tried all of the ones you mentioned RICHARDW, these are way to dear compared to the deals you used to be able to get - it just seems they've latched onto the fact that people want a late deal and sewn the market up. To Vicki027, leaving it til the day before is what I was thinking but I suppose that limits you to the luck of the draw and may struggle to get the destination you were after (although as long as it's sunny heh!?). I think that's what I'll be doing in the next few weeks, I'm sick of looking now, it's like an OCD!

so me and my boyfriend are looking at going away 31st aug/1st sept to anywhere however i do have turkey in mind (Marmaris) had a look about and hotels in turkey seem to be pretty poor (2 and 3 stars) but i have just found this deal after days of searching ...
