if you are going to sell your games, also check out ebay prices to see if better off selling there..
I always use tradeyourstuff.co.uk when getting cash for my games - just send them the games and get paid by paypal or bank transfer a lot more quickly than cex do.. Had issues when i sold to them online and no one replied to all my emails!!0 -
I was just about to make a similar comment Jason. Why does some of the second hand stuff cost more than it does to buy it new elsewhere?0

Does anyone trade in games online with Cex?0

Can we please understand that this thread was started approx' five years ago and that the whole of the retail sector and indeed the global market has been, and continues to be under considerable strain.
Please keep in mind; that high street stores have little and no imput on the website store and it is best, if you can, to go in store for your electricals and advice.
Please also remember; when going to any customer service sector that just because its designed to aid you in whatever way, that you are speaking with real people who need a wage and have feelings also. They, like you, will respond to any negitive treatment in a negitive way. Its not always professional but its human, and yes they have rules to follow just you do in your jobs.
Remember to be kind to each other (and take your ID or an adult with ID with you by the sounds of things)
Cheers! Carmon

I bought a camera 3 weeks ago on CEX website, it should have been delivered recorded delivery which is usually next working day.
3 weeks later my camera has not arrived. CEX do not have any telephone numbers or contact centres, its all email. I have sent CEX a dozen emails both from their online 'contact us' page and from my email account, all of which have been ignored!
I have contacted my local sorting office and they need the recorded delivery tracking number, I have requested this from CEX, and again my emails have all been ignored.
Customer service doesnt exsist for customers who buy online so DONT!
I am now soo fed up with the service that I am putting a letter of complaint to Trading Standards as my money was taken from my account less than 24 hours of making payment. :mad:0 -

Cex are poor
I completed a sell order for my phone and the email reply was they would send out a jiffy bag for my phone to be sent back in.
Jiffy bag never recieved.
Went into store and apparently that morning they had reduced the offer price on my phone.
Sold it on email for £14 more then what cex had originally offered for it.
Waste of time cex are"Save the cheerleader - Save the world"0
