Like an itinerary sort of thing.....
Cheers for the suggestion.
I've just tried to replace the CRA abbreviation text with small CRA logo jpg's but the forum software counts the image source code as characters so worse off than before!
At a loss what to do really, it appears that this forum limitation may force me to create a second thread to accommodate some of the categories.
Any other suggestions gratefully received.

Underground, do what I do and stay up late one night, start a new thread and then separate the categories so post 1 is credit cards, post 2 is loans, post 3 is storecards whatever, etc etc - but you need to get up quite late and then literally reserve the first few posts so only you can go in and edit them.....
That would work mate2010 - year of the troll

Dear All
Due to exceeding the maximum character count on post #1 I have created a new thread split into several posts to prevent this problem happening again - thanks to never-in-doubt for this suggestion.
The new thread can be found here:
>> Credit Reference Agencies - Who Really Uses Who? II <<
Hope the thread continues to be useful and, as ever, all information gratefully received.

I applied for a Loan with Lloyds TSB and I can confirm only Experian was searched. I checked Equifax and Call Credit and there was no information regarding Lloyds.0

I take it that any mortgage products still being advertised under Alliance and Leicester will now be done by Santander?0

My equifax rating is blemished with a default for £400 from carphone warehouse from end of 2007.
My experian Rating comes in excellent with no blemishes
My call credit is also showing a clean slate and no problems.
I applied for 4 cards over the last couple weeks and the agencies used for the credit check were as follows.
Sainsburys = Experian only......declined (my fault as I never brought my available credit limit below the 50% before applying, I did with all other applications. The reason for decline was my available credit. I was suprised to actually get a reason...but it helped.)
Halifax credit card = Experian only....Accepted
Cygma Bank/creation = Equifax only.......waiting
Post Office = Experian only......waiting
Hope this helps anyone looking for a card: My experian is my best report and the companies above may be an indicator of who to use for people in a similar position as myself.0 -

Sygma which is creation you say you have applied for, don't know how your application will fear there as you have a default on your account, same with post office which personally don't think you will get that card with your default either..
Any accounts that search equifax think you might struggle TBh..0 -
