The rest, I entirely agree with you on......
Wouldn't have to fabricate. Just some carefully timed transfers from one account to another for bank statements, added to a basic ability to set your own payslip for a couple of months of the year. Wouldn't be fraudulent, but would be selective and carefully timed"A child of five could understand this. Fetch me a child of five." - Groucho Marx0 -

Barclaycard = Equifax search
Barclays Bank = Experian search
That is no longer the case though - thus we're seeking exact clarity from those that do apply. I went for bank account a few months back and had a search on both files, but I believe that is cos I went for card at same time as bank account - i'm unsure to be honest...
You'll be fine mate cos you have barclaycards...:D
Just a quick update....got paper work today from Barclays, all I have to do is sign them & they'll open account. Instead of the £200 overdraft requested, it seems that they are going to give me £100. But that's fine as only using as a backup account & will not transfer salary in.
Barclays has only done an identification check with Equifax & nothing on Experian. It seems as you said NID that the fact of having already 2 barclaycard has played a part for them not doing a full search on Experian.0 -

Hi all
Going to have to do a refresh and re-jig with post #1, I was doing a spot of updating earlier and exceeded the 25000 character limit!
Have deleted some small bits of text for now but will have to have a re-think on how to minimise character use otherwise I won't be able to update the post.
In the meantime please keep the info coming
Regards

Mate swap the text for the CRA's (i.e. EX/EQ/CC) for coloured images so you get little boxes (5px x 5px) to replace this text (red, blue & green)..... like this kinda thing:
Like an itinerary sort of thing.....2010 - year of the troll

That is what they still do in France, there are no reference agencies, but credit cards are almost nil. Egg did try a few years ago but they had to close down as no one wanted them. When you go to the bank to request a loan, you have a real person deciding & not the system....it's not a perfect but it works.
They are better in France.Shame that can't be how we work here and boot the bums of the CRA's out the country.
How did our country become credit crazy? Where did it all go wrong?
France also ran that rip off Brighthouse (Crazy Georges) store off their land too. Good on them. Why didn't we do that here?
You know your town has gone to the dogs when Brighthouse move in. There's one opened in our High Street. There's always some fat bird on a mobility scooter paying for her rip off appliance in there. I feel like telling her she has been done!0
