Hi all
Have recently opened a few accounts, this is who they searched:
First Direct Current Account: EX only
Next Directory: EQ only
Santander Credit Card: EX only (ID Check only with EQ)
I also have a Tesco loan taken out late last year and so far it only reports on my EQ file.
Please do keep any updates coming, even if it just confirms what's already in post #1.
Regards

Not at all - Tesco (RBS) loans are quite easy to get if you have a good file - not excellent, but just good.
They are not strict, far from it!2010 - year of the troll

Mate Tesco search 3 years and if everything is ok then you'll get accepted.... however if you have any adverse they then check the whole 6 years so do not apply until the default is at least 3 years old or it will be an instant decline for credit score fail.:D

Found this on the O2 website:
Credit Assessment Information
Which credit reference agencies records does O2 search?
Generally, the agency we use will be dependent on whether you are connecting to a consumer or business tariff. For consumer tariffs, O2 uses a company called Equifax and for business tariffs O2 uses a company called Experian. If you wish to know which company we have used in respect of your application for service, please contact us.

I have noticed that when I did application process for a Barclays current account they actually checked my Equifax credit file. Within the application at the end of it, it ask me to confirm certain aspect of my accounts (limits, balance etc...) compare to records they have on my Equifax credit report.0
