I would always use Paypal but it seems impossible to get 2nd class through them. (maybe i am not using it right!)if I take it to the post office I often end up paying less. But they are usually understaffed and stressed out.
I went just before last xmas and there was sign up saying "due to staff shartages we will close for lunch at 2pm" It was 2.45pm and the poor woman on her own has no chance to get away because the queue just kept building and they didn't take any notice of the sign. the poor lady was obviously exhausted and just had to say "no" and close up and everyone went mental at her.
I wouldn't work there in a month of sundays!

My nearest PO is the milehouse, but don't know if it was coincidence or what, but I used this PO when I needed to post packages off ebay but I had 3 packages go missing around the same time and all were taken to that po, so I now use the town centre's only. I have also used paypal for posting twice, and both times I took them to Newcastle's po and both times it was more hassle than it was worth and took ages as the 3 different staff members weren't sure weather it was valid way of postage
