For some reason this didnt work for me, I topped up a brand new sim and activated calls50 as in the first post, and they debited me £7.99 from my payg. Because lifes so busy, I didnt get around to complaining but today to add insult to injury I had a text saying I had to top up my £1.50 credit so they could debit next months calls 50. GRRRRR! So I have texted the number to cancel on the first post and am going to ring them and complain tomorrow. I didnt even use the wretched phone anyway.
The other problem I have been caught with twice now is the so called freebie ringtone or game that you get - I always get charged. There is no information on how to claim the freebie different from a normal download so I think its their fault. I hate O2 (not keen on Vodaphone either). Rant over.
Did anyone else get caught like me?0
