Only wen you top up £10 you get this feature. You cant have 2 bolt ons so u cant have the 100mins and 50mins at the same itme, u can get the 50mins by paying £7.99 which i do.
The 100 inclusive x-net minutes,or 300 texts are not bolt ons ,they are part of the tariff and you choose to recive one or the other free
when you top up with £10 or more.
A bolt on is something you add on to your tariff as and when required. So you can have the 100 minutes if you top up by £10,and the 50 minutes free for 3 months. I have both and in one months time when they start charging me £7.99 for the 50 minutes i will cancel.0 -

Apologies for being so sketchy on the details and thanks for your prompt reply
It's actually a new O2 sim card on a new account. I activated the bolt-on in the early hours of 12th Jan by texting 'calls50' to the number given in your original post. I think I must have done this after I topped-up £10 by credit card via the free automated service.
I got a text today saying £7.99 has been deducted from my balance.
Hope that helps some more.
Thanks
Hi Muhamid,
Just an update on the above problem.
I did as you advised and contacted O2 CS. Very helpful, took only 2 mins on the phone. They added credit to my phone equivalent to 3 months use of the "calls50" bolt-on. So, £7.99 x3....£23.97 was put on as credit. Now, I'm not entirely sure whether the sum of £7.99 will be deducted each month or it'll still be there after the 3 months are up. Will wait and see.
Thanks again for your help, much appreciated.0 -

Don't worry next month if they will charge you can call them and do same thing. It should be free for you next month as well.MSE IS AN ADDICTION0 -
MUHAMID wrote:So they gave you £23.97 instead of £9.99?:D
Indeed they did
I'm still somewhat puzzled as to why though....maybe it's because the promotion runs for 3 months and to save charging me for the 'calls50' bolt-on each month, they just credited the whole balance now.
Well I hope that's the reason anyway :rolleyes:0 -
