Nowadays just 50% of sims work, half of them doesn't work.
if you top up then also they charge £7.99.then you have to call CS then they put money back in your a/c.
This is the comon thing happening nowadays.

I got the £2.50 registration credit; also got 1 free ringtone, 1 free wallpaper, 1 free game and 5Mb WAP no problem.

Then I applied for Calls50, but got no response, so I topped up £10 today and found 7.99 was automatically deducted! Called CS who explained that £7.99 will be deducted from top-up payments each month.

However, I explained that I thought I was eligible for free bolt-ons for up to 3 months as a joining treat ... so she went away, then returned and very kindly said she would refund the £7.99 and give me free bolt-ons for the next 3 months. So, it looks like I will get 3 months worth of free bolt-ons for £10 outlay - Result! :T

O2 have cretainly tightened up this loop hole. As a family we had several sims running with bolt ons.
As the 3 months is nearly up I thought I would start a couple more running. But no luck - each sim needs to be topped up before bolt on will activate. I will top one sim up as the home250 is still excellent value for a £10 top up (250 minutes evening and weekend to mobiles).

But it was great while it lasted.

It says you have to be in credit to receive the £2.50.

    Oh well, tried anyway.
