but now it's difficult to get free minuts without top up.
if you have toped up then u have right to get it.if you haven't then you should call o2 C.S.(see in my OP for free CS call)i'm sure they will activate it for u.
Muhamid I did call them, I spoke to 2 different customer service operators about 2 different sims that I had topped up. Both confirmed that as a new o2 online customer I was not entitled to free bolt on. It does also say this on the o2 website, which was pointed out to me by both customer service operators.
I topped up 2 sims and was charged for the bolt on on both sims. Customer Service did refund the charge but they refused to give me the 3 month free trial.
Good luck to anyone else who tries but I am not going to top up any more sims at a cost of £10 each.0 -

I checked my bolt on balance yesterday as my 3 months end today and got the message your bolt on expires on the 10th March and something on the lines of to carry on gettingg the 50 mins bolt on please top up.
I didn't as I have 10p left from the £2.50 credit and a few minutes, I intended to use the minutes today and then throw the sim away.
However I've just received a txt from 02. The message is: Your free calls 50 bolt on has restarted as part of the 02 Treats promotion
I'm so glad I didn't throw it away now.

Hi Sparky and Elf
Lucky you
Did either of you reply to the txt message asking you to either cancel the bolt on or be charged for it?
I sent a text each time asking them to cancel the bolt on - wondering if that was where I went wrong. I do have another sim, where the bolt on ends in 2 weeks. So i will wait and see what happens on that one.0 -

Hi joe13
I can't even remember if they sent a txt with the choice to cancel, I usualy just delete them but I know I've never replied to one.
Good luck with your remaining sim.0 -
Can you register more than one sim to your home address to get the £2.50 credit?
Also can you register the sim without having to put the sim in your phone first?.0 -
