I posted a similar question earlier.

Your first bolt on will expire a month from 23rd then your second months worth will start. You should get the bolt ons until the 23/3/06.

I wondered if the offer that lets you have the bolt on for three month in the 1st place may be ending soon. or is it a permanent offer

The promotional period is between 29th September 2005 up to and including 10th January 2006 so you will have to activate a new sim before 10th January.

Don't forget to cancel the bolt on at the end of month 3 (at least 72 hours before your Bolt On payment is due or you will be charged the following: Messaging 100 - £6.99/mth, O2 Home 250 - £4.99/mth, Calls 50 - £7.99/month.

If you are using one of your free PAYG sims then you will be ok because they didn't have any credit on them (unless you registered them with the o2 site and got £2.50 credit).

I had the same problem (see my thread number 138 on 7th Nov). The solution for me was to register my name and address online and when I received the text to say that my £2.50 free calltime had been loaded onto my account (so I had credit on my phone) I then sent a 'calls50' text to 21300 (instead of calling 2425) and then received the free calls 50 bolt on.
  • I've just tried a sim which I got with a Phone I bought a couple of months ago from O2 online (and haven't used or registered). When I dial 4444 and select the bolt ons option it says I have 100 minutes or 100 message units remaining which expire 29/1. Are they likely to charge me if I use these (as they have my credit card details on file!) ?
