Just having a little gardening break. As always I've prunned off far more stuff than will fit in the wheelie bin - I love prunning.

Back out in a minuted to do some more. I am determined to get the whole of the back garden sorted today.

PP I love the way kids look for the easy way out of doing anything.

AnW'smum great to see you posting

DavGirl I always make sure they get one type of thing out at a time, for example if it's the box of trains, cars etc only allowed one box at a time, that must be put away before another thing is got out. Involve them, it's their mess! Mine have got lego out at the mo, which I hate the most as I always end up standing on it. Enjoy trying all your new things :D
AnWsMum well done for catching up, I just can't if it's been more than 2 days.
Big hugs for the Pollybear house on your FILs birthday, knowing how much emotion these days can bring with them
juliejim, we were going away next month, well in August, so that was my to do before then list, so now it's been moved forward!
Denise ((hugs for you and your son)) must be worrying when they are unhappy and things aren't going great for them, suppose that's where he'll learn the most about life but still not easy
jjef DS was up anyway so no chance of me getting to bed, was up at 7am, so I'm a little yawny now.
Dusty you could do mine if you like, will take a little more than pruning I think, one bush is over 14ft wide now! We have about 10 or so bushes around the garden, no idea what any of them are. It's been pouring down here from 2pm so not been able to do the garden :(
poppyoscar, you'll be amazed how much you manage to get done in what sort of time once you get in the swing of it, bet you manage to keep it up when you return.
ragz I cut down how much I ironed loads when the boys got on their feet, no need to iron so many things!
KateIOM welcome, and the thought of the first day of disconnection sounds very scary!
    Triker have fun!
Pigpen, it's just even worse to swear in bold, yak, horrible nasty words (which you only did to annoy me....***).Well done on the weight loss, wow! I loose weight more when DPs working more and not here, bad influence!

The caravan is now packed ready for Monday, all the clothes now up there aswell as the car full of other stuff. Just the list of things to go in the car which will get packed Monday morning. Really pleased with how much we've managed to get done, investing in some new clothes has helped as I wouldn't have been able to pack for 5 days until last minute before :o

I've done 6 loads of laundry today and there is still more to do, I've had to pause as the airers are all over full and most of it can't be TDd grrr, airers are in the conservatory which is quite warm and have put the dehumidifier on which always helps.

Need to locate my list and see where I am up to....................
One day I might be more organised...........

Garden all done. So pleased with myself, I've even put everything away.

Still need to do the hedges but I need new cutters so am going to wait until Thursday when Lidl's have lots of gardening stuff on special.

I've removed the obligatory splinters from my hands so going to cook some tea now and then start on the paperwork around my desk.

Well the bedrooms are spic and span now and I am up to date with the washing (the only problem now is the ironing pile has reached critical mass:D )

The twins eventually decided on testing the smoke alarms, opening windows, [strike]emptying half a can of polish on to a duster[/strike]polishing my bedroom and cleaning the bath and loo!

They are enjoying a reward of tea and cakes as I type.
Twins, twice the laughs, twice the fun, twice the mess!:j:j

prettypennies that's like my boys, when they help they expect workers rewards like tea and biscuits/cakes, they sit there like they've done a hard day on a buidling site or something :rotfl:

Why at 7pm does the sun come out?!!!! That's absolutely no good to me when I want to get laundry dry, oh well at least it'll warm the conservatory, have put the last load in now. Will investigate in 10 minutes if the front lawn will be dry enough to be cut, doubtful. Boys have been fighting and are starting to really test my patience, now on final warning if it doesn't stop we're not going away, no chance I am taking two children who can't stop biting, punching, kicking etc.

Next mission, in order is - empty small fridge, sort, list, wipe and replace. empty small freezer, list what is in and put back carefully. take items from large freezer and place in the small one, same with fridge. then I'll have what I need to meal plan, ish!

The words CHRISTMAS and XMAS and YULETIDE and FESTIVE SEASON are NOT swear words but that word beginning with a 'c' which you keep saying is.. and the 'H' word people keep jetting off to is also very very rude!

I am going to sort through everyone clothing the first week or so of the school hols.. starting of course with the school uniform cupboard.. There are loads of bits in there to chuck.. stained polo shirts and bunny nibbled sweatshirts and faded shirts and grubby grotty shirts.. then I will rehem the trousers that need doing and see what needs replacing for September.

The money hubby just brought back from Germany we are going to buy the materials to get the loft stairs and the partition wall up so we can get the girly room organised.. We also have to have the radiator shifted so we need to get that room emptied of detritus which should be fun!

I need a list just for that.. I'll find my notepad and sort that next. Hubby can have my bank card and go shopping.. where is doing screwfix cashback still? I don't think pigsback do it any more.. :( .. ETA.. no worries.. found it on quidco!

Thinking online again now aren't I? lol

Does anyone here have a boy wearing 8-9 clothes (grey and bottle green uniform too!) or a girly in age 2-3? or about to grow into that size? I am sorting DS3's and tiddles drawers shortly and need to fling.. can't be faffed with ebay... I start at the youngest and work my way up shifting stuff down.

    Evening all

I havent managed to catch up on the thread, so hugs all round xx

I need help! After everyone stressing over me dogsitting in my mums house (she has a cream carpet!!), thats the least of my worries. We were at my cousin's 21st last night and BF and I left fairly early-ish, around 12.30 am back to mums. (Mum, Dad and DD are still in Oz). My cousin, her fiance and my aunt were due to come back and stay later on. So they turned up about 3.30 am with cousin's fiance's wee brother who is 16. My aunt went to bed after being sick in the bathroom, leaving my cousin, fiance and wee brother to drink a bottle of red wine. So far, so good. I ran the four of them up the road to my other aunts this morning. My aunt was sick again, I managed to stop the car in time, but she peed herself at the same time

When I got back to mums, I saw the red wine stains on the cream living room carpet    I phoned my cousin to shout at her, but the wee brother reckoned the stains were already there. Er, I dont think so. So.....

How do I remove urine from the car seat?
How do I remove red wine stains from the cream carpet?

Right, away to catch up with the thread......
