SSL.. you take the car round to the aunts and make her clean it.. dirty mare!! That is revolting I would have been furious.. white wine is meant to bring out red wine stains.. failing that boiling hot water and a dash of bleach and blot rather than rub should shift it

prettypennies that's like my boys, when they help they expect workers rewards like tea and biscuits/cakes, they sit there like they've done a hard day on a buidling site or something :rotfl:

Why at 7pm does the sun come out?!!!! That's absolutely no good to me when I want to get laundry dry, oh well at least it'll warm the conservatory, have put the last load in now. Will investigate in 10 minutes if the front lawn will be dry enough to be cut, doubtful. Boys have been fighting and are starting to really test my patience, now on final warning if it doesn't stop we're not going away, no chance I am taking two children who can't stop biting, punching, kicking etc.

    quote]

My two just don't seem to get the reward is a nice clean home!

I know what you mean about the fighting. The twins decided that the (very busy) checkout at Sainsburys was a great place to have a playfight today. Everyone was looking giving me disapproving looks. I decided that I wasn't going to react to the twins at all and just packed the shopping as though they weren't even there.
When we got to the car I explained very calmly that I had no intention of spending the next six weeks making a t1t of myself balling at them in public. If they are doing something they know they shouldn't whilst we are out, it will be duly noted and when they ask to do something nice it will be a big fat NO. And if that means we do nothing nice during the hols , on their head be it!

I have no idea whether my little pep talk had any effect, but we can but try:D

pigpen - I'm sitting here crying with laughter at your reply. Its not even my car, its my BFs!!!! Can you imagine me telling BF what happened? I started off telling him about the vomit, but then he said 'as long as she wasnt sick in the car, its fine' Er, I really dont think he was expecting, 'well she peed herself...' He thinks I've completely lost it. I'm still crying and laughing away.

    Evening everyone.

No flying as Ive been to work today. But now Im on holiday for two weeks YAY!

When I got up this morning someone had taken my front gate off and it was at the top of the street. So had to carry it back and put it on. Thats the trouble with living near a night club.

KateIOM, ragz and poppyoscar welcome to each of you.

DD let me have a lie in until midday today :o So I decided to treat her to a trip into town to see the tall ships that are in this weekend and I am soooooo glad I did ;) LOTS OF SAILORS and loads of them were in uniform :D:D Pictures will be going on my facebook account VERY soon ;) Unfortunately my batteries went in my camera when some really smart ones went past so I've just been to Wilkos and bought a 20pack of duracell ones :rotfl::rotfl:

    Weekend Frolics

    1. Sort living room table
    2. Paperwork
    3. Clean windows (downstairs)
4.Vacuum sofa DONE (how do I strike through?)
5.Dust/wipe banister, skirting, tops of doors and frames.
    6. Clean fridge
    7. Turn mattress (vacuum it?)
    8. Sort a box of toys (dreading this one)

Nice easy list I think, I only just discovered this thread so I picked these out of the whole week's lists. Thanks PigPen for the inspiration, always start off well not sure how far I'll get.

Inspiration must be working, just cleaned half the bathroom. Sink, loo and half the tiles - never done those before! Wasn't even on my list!!!:j

well my hubby is still in bed.. his foot is still manky too.. though it is looking a bit better now I made him soak it in dettol and put antibacterial cream on it rather than antiseptic.

My DH had a manky foot recently. It was only a small wound, but it got infected. He eventually had to have antibiotics to heal it. He was off work for a week because he couldn't even wear socks over it!

    Hello peeps

Last seen back on page 12 I have been very busy altho not too much flying just enough to get by. Laddos doing ok now after the loss of his grandad and he off with his dad to see nanny tomorrow so hope all goes ok. Ex has also said he doesnt have a prob with me going to the funeral (he still hates me for leaving him 11 years on) so thats on the list for Wednesday. Laddo also had his 16th birthday yesterday and had a good time, loves his new bike I bought and also that I took him to the bank to open his first 'proper' bank account this morning.

I havent looked at the thread since page 12 so I will catch up with you all just dont know when as have to be up at 430 in the morning to take our french student back to the station, then spend the day catching up in the house before collecting the next one at 6pm.

On thursday I made myself a must do list of all the silly little jobs I have to do (excluding the decorating and flying ones). So far I've done only 11 of 38

Got Gammon ham in the oven baking at the mo so off to tidy up tea things and have an early night :rotfl:

    See ya'll soon
