Feeling miserable again today. Working (or rather sitting there doing nothing) this weekend seems to have brought me back down to earth with a bump. Am hoping flying will pick me up and stop the brooding. Have had a banana in the hope my energy levels will increase.

Everywhere needs doing today so will start when I get back from school run. Still at least tea is made, I did a curry last night so just need to do the noodles and veggies stirfry later yummy).

Lil_me - sorry OH is being a P I T A, he really doesnt realise what a good un he has in you!

Best walk the munsters to school/nursery. May take DD2 to next town to get her some trainers from Clarks later - if I can be bothered.

Sorry I will get out of this frame of mind (I hope)

    Morning Peeps,

I have had a lovely start to the day. The sun is shining, showered, hair washed, face on. Delivery driver paid me a lovely compliment:D....ohhh that's made me feel soooooo good.:D Don't get them very often.
1 load of washing on the line and second load in. On me 3rd cup of coffee. Oh yes, and, I've lost 2lbs this week. Was 3lbs yesterday so not quite sure where the extra lb came from. Need to invest in new scales me thinks.

Off to fly now, catch you all later.

carpet washing.. I gloop a solution of wash powder and hot water together and bring out the heavy duty elbow grease and a sponge (pronounced spong-ger..) but go to bed.. it is silly o'clock

Thanks. I'll give it a going over tomorrow when DS1 is out all day. I was asleep by the time you posted. I read the thread in bed, shut down the lappy and passed out :)

Beany - I love the Gruffalo! My boys will never let me read it to them :(
Mrs V - The pigeon incident made me smile. I hope the viewings went well.
Rach - Hope the bruises are going and the soreness subsiding.
Lil_Me - I can sympathise with you and OH. My OH works just over 20hrs a week, I work 40plus and do all the cleaning, and cook the majority of the meals, and play with the boys, etc. Sometimes all we see of him is the top of his head over his laptop lid. Very frustrating, and it's only a matter of time before it all blows up (we've had countless chats about how he could contribute more but nothing lasts for long). I have pride in what I have acheived, it's not been easy getting things back together around the house, and that's what keeps me going. Sending some hugs and good vibes your way.
Shell - Keep smiling best you can. Things will get better.

Made a start on todays list. Will delegate the vacuuming to OH again (it might get done this time) but I intend to get levels 2 and 3 finished before I go to work.

Thought I would look up how much parking at the airport would cost me. £162 or £140 with pink elephant. Thats me well and truely on the train then lol!. Had hoped MIL might offer to take us but nope! I am taking her grandkids way from her for 4 weeks so feels like I am being left to it. Woo is me!!!!

I will do some flying today, honest. Best do some before DD2 needs collecting from nursery. She has turned into a horrid thing since her 4th birthday - think thats why I am stressing so much about getting to the airport incase she has one of her moods on.

I have a job interview tomorrow so need to work out what to wear and make sure my hair looks ok. Not really in the mood for it, I am crap at interviews on a good day so goodness knows what state I will be in tomorrow - lol!

Right first HHC coming up me thinks, will make a coffee whilst in kitchen - any takers

Morning all. Haven't read the thread at all apart from seeing its supposed to be the livingroom today :rotfl::rotfl: Thats not going to happen here - I have the whole of my TMA to do this week and I haven't fininshed the last tutorial I need to do yet! Got a couple of phone calls to make then I'm getting stuck in with the studying while timing myself with the washing machine :rotfl::rotfl: Right, those phonecalls.....

I'm glad it's lounge today. I really don't feel up to the kitchen. I don't know why, it's not as if it's particularly difficult

Yesterday I woke up to a very strange sight - the sky was blue (I thought it was meant to be grey ) and there was a very bright object in the sky which I couldn't look at, but it was very hot. I woke up this morning and phew everything is back to normal - grey, cold and windy with the distinct possibility of rain :rotfl:.

    Right, must get on.

Oh, before I forget, Happy Birthday for yesterday Soappie. I don't get much chance to go on the computer on a weekend so couldn't post yesterday.

Lil me- Hope you are feeling better for telling him how you feel even if it doesn't change anything.
Kazmeister - I hope that you aren't feeling too rough this morning?
Dusty Kitten - have sorted facebook now- thanks.
Shell - I interview a lot so my advice is to be as positive as you can be and ask lots of questions. why is there a vacancy? why did you join this company? why are you still here? (can tell a lot from their body language about if it is somewhere you actually want to work), what one thing could I bring to this role?

First day of the holidays here, nice not to have had to run round, and for the boys to get dressed at their own pace. Coping strategies, the boys have drawn up a list of places they would like to go on a Friday, we have then allocated a number of smilies to each item. A good day earns them a smiley, and on Friday they can use the banked smilies to do something. They know me well enough to know that I will stick to it. Anyone else got any ideas - it is their behaviour that is the issue more than places to go? Just had to break off to go and stop a punch up .

Not done a lot so far today. Got dressed, made the boys breakfast, read a book (Agatha Christie), filled the WM and the TD. Very cold here though, we are all wearing jumpers and I am tempted to put the heating on. LR, Hall and stairs it is. Off to get some oak for my kitchen units later so I need to find somewhere to store a metre cubed of wood. Middle of the Snug floor then he has to get on and do something with it?
