Lil_me - ((hugs)) you really deserve so much more support, don't stay up too late and hope your meeting goes ok. ETA Just read your last post on the old thread and I for one don't think you are a moaning murtle (although it is a new word for me :rotfl: ) more a very considerate helpful person who puts everyone before herself. I hope you get your spa day sorted and some regular me time.

Pigpen - thanks for the list, will see how long I last

Kaz - another lightweight here but you certainly provided the entertainment this Sunday night!
Don't put it down, put it away - thanks Valli

Thank you to all who post competitions & help the smooth running of the comps board

I am in this week, sort of.
Hubs is away with work again for the week, I usually manage to get more done when he's not here so am hopeful of some cleaning getting done!

My main goal for the week is to try and get a bit more organised.
i have lots of fiddly bits to do like presents to wrap, letters to post, kids stuff to book for hols etc, so need to make a list and start on it.
The house is clutter free except for the front room which is where I put all the stuff that needs doing. Its a giant hotspot and I am determined to clear it this week.

Finances are crazy again. I was looking through a box of receipts that need binning/filing/whatever and found 2 tenners and 2 fivers. Thats great and all but how could I lose £30 and not even know ??? That just shows it is all going AWOL again.
I have done grocery challenges before and think I will do again. But we go on hols in a week so I will start that when we get back.

I need some tips on keeping on top of the daily things.
I seem to take out cash, have no clue where it goes, and though I do ave a spreadsheet and am anal about tracking all spends I finds it hard to find time to keep on top of it.

So how do you all do it ?
How do you keep on top of the little bits ?
When do you have time to overall track the finances and ensure its staying in the bounds etc ?

I know there is a ton of information on here but I want to know how real people like us with jobs and kids and housework manage.

Cheers peeps, off to bed now, bit late oops

    Hi sorry spd-syphisis pubis dysfunction.
Its where in pregnancy the bones in your pelvis soften for labour, but sometimes they soften too much. And rub against each other like kind of grinding and that's spd. You can get varying degrees of it, mine started of not too bad, but in the last week its got very painful whenever I move!!!!!such a moaner right now!!!! He he x

Hi all first week doing this, yay! But 36 weeks pregnant and suffering from spd and siatica, soo will be doing it very very slowly!

Oh Gemma, please take care not to do too much, I know your nesting at the moment. I had spd with my 2 Lo's and OUCH!!!! Don't know how much advice you've had to help ease the spd.

Basically I was told anything which requires you're knees to be apart should be minimised. E.g Getting into bed/car, no squating, no lift heavy objects, shortened pace.

Also best position for labour with spd is on all fours or knealt up and hanging on to the bedstead(this one worked for me) + gravity works for you and not against as per the more traditional position.
