    Morning all

Got to bed far too late and then woke up at 4am again (don't know why I keep waking up at that time) and couldn't get back to sleep so I'm pooped this morning but, a cup of tea and a bath should sort me out.

    Have a good day ladies.

    Morning All.

Well second load is in the WM already and DW has done its cycle. DD not well so I have been up since then but she has only been sick once. Why is that when children are sick the always want the one thing that is going to make them sick. With DD it is milk.

Went to watch Wall-e yesterday was really good except when the lady next to me told me to keep my child quiet. The film started 30 minutes late and DS was asking me a question about the film. Have to admit to telling her to sit elsewhere. He was a good boy throughout the film but was asking a few questions at the beginning. He does have a problem with his volume button it is either on loud or off.

After searching everywhere for DD's reading book, she has decided that they kept it at school at the end of last week because they aren't sending reading books home over the 6 week hols as a lot don't come back or I'm assuming that's the reason - she's said she's not bringing 1 home this week.

I'm in again this week; it's keeping me sane and estate agent is expecting to book more viewers today.

Bit of a soot fall down the chimney on Friday evening, just before a viewer was due, but managed to clean up the hearth before they arrived and pop the fireguard up in case any more came down. Just had chimney swept so was moaning that job not been done properly.

Had a bit of a lie in with DH on Saturday but was up and about an hour before our viewer was due. House was clean and tidy so just wandered round puffing up pillows and straightening things while DH had a shave. Went into the sitting room and the small sofa had a few little white feathers on; just about to start moaning at little fat dog (thought she had attacked a cushion, she does occasionally do a mad thing now and again) when out of the corner of my eye I saw the fireguard had been knocked down.......................and sitting calmly as you like on the back of the sofa is a very bedraggled pigeon

I am now very awake and aware that the room is covered in a lovely layer of soot EVERYWHERE and I have a viewer due in an hour, but more importantly we have to get the flaming pigeon out. This is a job for hubby! So I shut the door and go get him. He eventually managed to catch it in a tablecloth, (but not before a number of comedy moments involving some bread and a feather duster) and it was released into the back garden, where it flew off leaving most of it's feathers behind.

Managed to get cleaned up after a fashion and I don't think the viewers noticed but I really need to get cracking in there today!

We have been laughing about it all weekend, but OMG it really stressed me out at the time :D

Did quite well last week...til Wednesday then it all fell apart:o . Still onwards and upwards and the plus point is there is less for me to do this week cos I made a start last week.

Rach - Ouch - your injuries sound painful but please watch your step
    lilme - hugs
    Gemma - Take it easy!!
I am due on Friday:eek: and am getting very very impatient but know that I have to take it easy. DS thinks all his christmasses have come at once cos cbeebies and nick jr are on permanently!! Ti be fair he is usually playing in the other room but I use them to help me fly. I fly for a program then have a sit down for a program and alternate. Of course this is interrupted when DS wants the gruffalo reading for the 100th time!!

    Right the list

Thank you pigpen for the list. I have also promised OH that I will bake. I must be mad.

Yesterday I cleaned our walk in cupboard off the dining room It is only about four feet across but it is easily twelve feet long and you couldn't walk in, it was so full of junk. Four bin bags later and a bit of rearranging and it looks much better! Felt soooo good.

Hugs to all - Rach, have you got yourself checked out after the fall? Last time I fell downstairs I dislocated my shoulder. The time before that I dislocated BOTH shoulders. You would notice a dislocation, but if you are really stiff then there could be some muscle strain.

This week I am going to really try and keep up with this thread. You are all such nice people on here.
    Always another chapter

Well I managed to get up on time for school.. then remembered DD2 has her induction at high school all this week so will cost nothing short of a small fortune in dinner money... ARGH!!

I have belly ache.. think it might be related to the amount of alcohol consumed over the weekend..

MrsV you made me laugh, sorry:o Hope the viewing went well.
22hrs lil_me? That is very much a part time job! I work 16 hrs a week, look after LO the rest of the time, do ALL the housework, cooking etc and did an OU course! OH works 60-70 hours a week so i dont expect him to do much. Does your OH help at all?

    Right, where's me list...

Edit: Hi to Gemma86, take it easy, lots of rest!
