    Hi All

Im a bit of a lurker on the OS board (have posted just a few times) but read almost everything you wonderful people write here. Anyway have a few questions (please bear in mind I am new to this being domesticated thing!)................

What are soda crystals and what do you do with them?
Will my house not smell like a chip shop if I clean with vinegar?
Keep reading about some sort of drops (stardrops?! or something) what are they?

And of course where can I find all these things? Was quite amused when I looked in my cleaning cupboard yesterday to discover a whole multitude of 'wonder products' Half of which dont work and well the other half of which I dont actually know what to do with!!!

Hi there  As this has fallen from the front page of Old Style, I'll add it to this week's Flylady - a great place for cleaning ideas and inspiration :T

If I can stop sneezing and sniffling, there's a chance I may get something done today! I'm not sure if it is hayfever, or if I have caught another cold. Pain, because I have a meeting with my new department this afternoon, and would rather not sit there with swollen eyes and drippy nose!

I did the main bedroom this morning straight away. I just have to whizz the vacuum around. I have already tidied and vacuumed downstairs. As the vacuum wasn't working very well, I dismantled it ,and cleaned out all the various filters, but it's now really hard to push around, I can't see anything obviously not working, so I shall have to resort to getting out the instruction booklet to see if I did something wrong!

I think I'll have a coffee and maybe go to the allotment. I did a bit in the garden yesterday afternoon, and there's still a long list of jobs to do preferably before we go on holiday - nine days to go!

Have a nice day, see you later!

Morning all - just about to start my essay.

    Plan for today :
    • Dishes (after lunch or tea - will depend on how many have collected)
    • [strike]Change bed[/strike]
    • Tea - sausage casserole, must remember to only use half the jar of sauce and freeze the other half, still making enough sometimes to feed 4 out of habit and then it ends up getting eaten so it doesn't go to waste :o
    • Go to Mums to pick up Thesaurus (it would appear that I've binned mine when it fell apart  ) after school
    • ESSAY - 1st draft. Then I can rejig it properly when I have my thesaurus.
Right, I'm going to start my essay and switch the internet off so I CAN'T "just check my email...." :o
Creeping back in for accountability after falling off the wagon in 2016.
Need to get back to old style in modern ways, watching the pennies and getting stuff done!

It did unfortunately. Luckily we didn't get married, although we had planned to.
