Oops. I just found out I am going out tonight and I haven't any money!
It is something I booked about 3 months ago. It is only £15, including drinks,I must start emptying the money boxes. Do you think the pub will accept £15 in 50ps?

I have to pay whether I go or not so I will just go and leave them all to sort their own dinner tonight. I really do need to get away.
business mortgage £0))''(+ Barclay's business kitchen loan £0=Total paid off was £96105 PPI claimed and received £13527

Hi everyone :D Just caught up on the thread. Have not had a chance to post recently due to having a few busy weeks. DD has had a taster morning at "Big School"! She seemed to have fun but was a bit shell shocked by it all, and was very tired for the rest of the day. She opened up a bit more the following day and is looking forward to going in September. At least the taster has given her an idea of what to expect. I think it is going to be more traumatic for me! I am dreading it and will really miss having DD around in the day....how sad am I !!! I am just trying to be really positive about it all in front of DD.

We have been having problems with a new car that we have bought, for me, ready for all the school runs in September. We got the car at nearly half price as there was an offer going on :money: :D Anyway we were told it would be ready for collection within 2 weeks. It was then 3 weeks and they have now told us that the car is still sitting in the Netherlands and is not even in the UK  We can't really go to another dealership as we have already paid a deposit.

Anyway back to flying! This morning I have done the children's bathroom, downstairs loo and lounge and hung out all the washing. This afternoon I have to finish the kitchen (started giving it a deep clean yesterday) and you have all inspired me to do some baking, so if I get a chance I will do some later. Hope you all have a really good afternoon :D Take care x

    Afternoon!

Its taken me ages to catch up on the thread. No flying yesterday as I was working. Then have slept for 11 hours  . Think my weekend has caught up with me.

Been to see mum this morning and took her to the park. She seems quite quiet today. Then have been and done my shopping.

Big hugs for lil_me, rach and her sister, Shell, Nicki and anyone else Ive missed or needs one.

Dusty Fingers crossed OH gets the job.

susieq Good to to hear OH is getting better.

Kaz Hugs for you and DS and OH and ex and family.

Mrs V That made me laugh about the pigeon.

Soappie You will be having mixed feelings bout your ex. This happened to me a couple of year ago. He was here for family wedding. We met up and he took me for a meal. I did regret meeting up. We have not been in contact since. But thats me and how I felt.

TAG That was really funny bout the boots. I bet his face was a picture.

Hev Coke has aspartame in which really isnt good. The Paul Mckenna method is really good Im using it for chocolate.

pigpen I was about to have something to eat but feel rather sick now after your post. Those things you mentioned are what I think about when using the Paul Mckenna method to put me off chocolate. Feel sorry for the girl not having a supportive family its good you are there for her. Hope you are feeling better.

Will do some off the lists this afternoon. Im night shift tonight but after sleeping that long dont need to have a sleep before work.

Part A is done :j:j Problem is the word limit is 600 and mine is currently 1080ish :o Lots of editing for me tomorrow I think, especially as I'm not sure the last one is right  Fresh eyes tomorrow morning I think ;)

Going to try and do some of Part B now. Its an 850 words essay on "the ways in which the liberalisation in the financial services industry has affected levels of UK household debt" - I'll probably come up with way too many words again knowing me :rotfl::rotfl:

Just off to check the OU forums to see if there's any more hints there ;)

Done my first lots of insurance comparing and they have come up much cheaper than my renewal notice. Going to try another comparision site later and then visit the companies I'm interested in independantly to see what turns up.

Back to the hoovering and then a nice ice lolly as a reward.

Hubby says it is me that is messy.. BUT.. the house is actually TIDIER today than it was when he left.. and he is the only person that hasn't been here.. so.. who do we think the messy one might be?? I have probably done less while he hasn't been here than I would normally as well.. and don't we know he is coming home with a suitcase full of stinking laundry?!

Pigpen I'd double bag (at least) the maggotty things and sling them in the bin. They might breed in your vacuum :eek::eek::eek:

I've not actually cleaned the kitchen today - I've been doing some baking. A batch of chocolate buns, a batch of Anzac biscuits (sorry Twinks :D) and I'm about to stick an Armenian Nutmeg cake in the oven (both the last from my Australian Women's Weekly book).

Yesterday DD2 drew round her mouth with pink felt pen. Today it's green. I'd post a photo but I don't know how to .

Right, off to put the cake in the oven then off to collect DS from school.
