    Morning all :hello:

I can't concentrate again. I look at my TMA and I just can't think. I'm going to wash my hair, the dishes, make DD's bed and then try again. :o If not....I'm going to go out for a walk somewhere as that sometimes helps...if it doesn't then I don't know what I'm going to do.

I'm seriously having second thoughts about taking on this teaching assistant course in September. I don't think I'll be able to cope trying to do two lots of coursework as well as the classroom experience and looking after DD and the house. :o My head feels like its about to explode now as it is!

Right, off to wash my hair as soon as I've checked my email.

  • Nicki - I hope you manage to get your head round your TMA today. It sounds like you've got a lot on your plate in September but, if you stick at it it'll be so worthwhile in the end.

I've just managed to take a small chunk out of my leg in the bath (forgot to put new blades on my shopping list!) So I'm watching telly with DS2 while I wait for the bleeding to subside. Then I'll fly. I promise. :)

DS normally has around three or four hours nap, spread out over the day.

Yesterday, however, he was doing the 'only wimps nap' business. I feel like I have been through the washing machine on the extra spin cycle.

Not doing well with coming off the diet coke - four litres yesterday, and really I need to cut it down to zero for health reasons - like nearly passing out in a supermarket :o I can just imagine the first aider's face if I had actually gone... So, what's the problem, love? Diet coke. No, really, what's the problem? Sigh.

Can't see me getting organised to do the things I need to do, like get the parcel to the post office and get weedkiller over the buttercups and russian vine. Haven't looked in the kitchen more than I needed to yet, but optimistic if DS co-operates today.

He was looking shattered, so I took him up to his playpen, in his bedroom, for quiet time/nap. So far on the monitor it sounds like he has been doing heavy duty construction work. If I could find the cement mixer, I would definitely confiscate it

Readicut catalogue has come. I want to buy loads and loads and loads. It is almost as bad as the Lakeland catalogue for me. And they have offers on some really nice looking wool....

    Somebody hide the credit card.

Kaz - thinking of you - finding out someone you know has passed away, even if it isn't as complicated as your situation, always leaves a gap in your life. Hugs.

Pigpen - that poor girl is so lucky to have found you.

Anyway, take DS to shops, post parcel (if I get my arsk in gear), weedkiller buttercups, put chocolate on bounty balls (recipe from July GC), make a batch of twinks and then....

    start flylady :p

    (DS permitting)

    Hugs to all.
    Always another chapter

    Morning all

Only one load of washing out today. I've got a builder rebuilding the back wall (that neighbour knocked down), the dog wash van has been and cut and washed Polly's hair (dog, not me!) and the dog food has been delivered. Too much going on to get any more washing out. Especially when you have to climb over a rose bush to get by at the moment....

Made a victoria sandwich and a batch of little currant cakes this morning and vacuumed round downstairs. That will do. I'll do more tomorrow. Honest...

I hate interviews, I am crap at them and will never get a job:eek: .

Got there just in time thanks to getting stuck in traffic for 30 mins. I answered their questions but I dont think I answered them how they would have liked. I dont use big enough words me thinks. Still I am a nice person really and fun to work with - I loves a laugh and joke so there loss.

Need to collect DD2 from lunch club at 12.30 so need to crack on with stuff as house is a pit. Will tackle kitchen first as didnt have time to do dishes this morning. I also need to create a "master" list of all the stuff I need to do over the next few days - including holiday insurance (via quidco:money: ).

    Music, coffee S & S me thinks - HHC 11.15 - 11.45, anyone join me??
