I use silicone muffin cases I got online, sat on the bottom as I didnt buy a the rack. They turn out perfect every time.
DH, does the magic liner from lakeland cover the whole remoska pan , or just the bottom? I'm wary of doing a cake in it in case it sticks to the sides and burns on.
If anybody has done a big cake in an unlined remoska please tell me how it went.
I want to try bread next..
Hi mardatha, the magic liner covers the sides and the bottom I got this one http://www.lakeland.co.uk/non-stick-lift-out-liner/F/keyword/cake+tin+liner/product/11126_11128 and cut the sides a bit to fit (I got the 20cm liner to fit the standard) came out perfect (in fact 1/2 of it has gone...)Save £12k in 2012 no.49 £10,250/£12,000

Wanted to ask Desperate Houswife - you mentioned doing eggs and bacon - could you tell me how long the eggs took?
Hi Essex-girl, when I did bacon and eggs the eggs didn't take long at all, keep your eye on them, we're talking a few minutes, 2 or 3 I think because the pan was already hot from cooking the bacon. I used a buttered ramekin dish which worked well, I notice they sell silicone egg poachers in lakeland (I really must find something else to read instead of their catalogue!) http://www.lakeland.co.uk/poach-pods/F/keyword/egg+poacher/product/12116 but i don't know if they will be any good in the remoska. I will stick to the ramekins for now 'cos they work.Save £12k in 2012 no.49 £10,250/£12,000

I phoned Lakeland today and she wasn't sure if the pan of the Remoska can be used on the hob for pre-browning, but she is going to ring me once she finds out. I think that Lakeland are really helpful!Jane

Thanks Desperate Housewife, I shall give that a try at the weekend. We love having a fryup once a week but I absolutly hate cooking it on the hob when then needs a good clean afterwards.0

It's here! :j
I am glad I went for the Grande as it is shallower than I thought and I think any smaller and I'd not be able to get a chicken in there.
May have a go at doing jacket potatoes with dinner tonight. Can I do those in a deep pan and how long roughly do they take please?
Thanks.Ageing is a privilege not everyone gets.

Made a fruit cake- from be-ro book this am in my grande in 1 tin.
Had to put foil ring with hole in after 30 mins, the after another 10 mins covered hole up too! Cooked for 50 mins as that what is would have been in oven, could have done with 40-45 mins it was yum!
Set hubbie to supermarket with little money and a list, going to do a roast chicken tonight.0
