Anyone made potato wedges in the remoska yet I'm asking as my grandchildren have decided that they prefer them to chips at the moment and I usually do them in the oven. I chucked some cooked boiled new potatos in there last night but they just seemed to warm them through.
I cut potatoes into 'chunks' and boil for a couple of minutes. I then wipe dry with kitchen roll, place in Remoska and spray with oil and seasoning. Within an hour they're brown and crispy at the edges. They taste really good.0 -

thanks
2-3lb max. The height of the grande is not much higher than the regular pan. If your chicken is too big, you can untruss the legs to 'lower' it a bit.:D0 -

yes, I do JackieO - there are posts about it in the old Remoska thread, that's where I learned how to do it. For me it works best to whizz the (whole) potatoes in the microwave for 2 or 3 minutes, then cut them into wedges. Spray or brush with oil, add any seasoning/spices and bake in the Remoska; I put them on the rack for this, and it is best to put some foil on the rack (that way they don't tumble or fall through) unless you cook something else underneath."Remember that many of the things you have now you could once only dream of" - Epicurus0 -

Last night I did some fish in the remoska, I skinned the fillets, drizzled olive oil, mixed herbs, sliced cherry tomato, sliced lemon and rolled them up. They didn't take long and were delicious. I did them in the shallow pan and before that I did some dauphinois potatoes in the deep pan, just kept a lid on the spuds to keep them warm while the fish cooked.Save £12k in 2012 no.49 £10,250/£12,000

Hi Bellaquidsin (hope you're around!)
I finally got around to trying the bread rolls. I've made an 8oz of flour batch of dough and divided it into 8 little rolls. I forgot to ask how long to bake them for. I think rolls take less time than a loaf. Would you say 20 minutes in a standard Remoska? (from cold, ie first thing to be cooked.)0 -
I tried the garlic bread made out of leftover crusts yesterday in the remoska and everyone wanted more! I rubbed the bread with olive oil abd crushed some garlic on and mixed it in then put in the shallow pan to cook. It didn't take long either.Save £12k in 2012 no.49 £10,250/£12,000
