I have got a grande and there are only 2 of us, but son if often home too. This size means I can double up and freeze or if I only have a small quantity to cook, I put it in a bowl inside the grande.
  • I also have the Grande for 2 of us, ideal for cooking larger chickens and use a smaller dish inside if cooking less. I use mine almost every day and hardly ever turn my big oven on. I did use my main oven last weekend when we had 10 around for dinner but also used the Grande to cook my yorkshires in which gave me extra cooking space.

    I love my Remoska ......

I bought a standard because there are only two of us, it is adequate, but I have always regretted not getting the grande, which would have provided me with a bit more flexibility - and in particular, I could have cooked bigger chickens. I would say to anyone who is undecided between the two to get the bigger one.
Tis wonderful though, rarely use the normal oven these days, I must have saved a fortune in gas :)

Maz, yes you can use silicon cookware in the Remoska, theyre fine.I got a selection from Home Bargains a while ago, muffin 'tins',a loaf tin,and the square one,and they are useful.Have fun experimenting.

    hiya Rosy and everyone

i really am so pleased with this,,,i did jacket potatoes in it the other night, they were so moist i cannot believe it and nicely browned too

i havent put my oven on since i bought it,,, have no intention to do so for as long as possible,

    the whole family are impressed

have spoken with lakeland and i can get one forwarded to family in italy for the summer and we can use it on our holidays too and when we get family get togethers, and it will cost about 28 pounds for shipping by lakeland delivery people, so not too bad

anyway off to have a sunny break in the garden today and think what i can put in to cook, for dinner tonight

have a sunny day whereever you all are too

    cheers maz:j

  • I made a lovely ratatouille in mine yesterday there is enough for today if i chuck a can of chick peas in.

I have had mine around 1 year now and my gas and electric bill has come down from £120 a month to £82 so I am chuffed. Its accurate too because I read the meter every month.
