I'm SO excited, I've just won a Remoska on ebay :):) I've been dipping in and out of this thread over the months and as there's just me and DD aged 3, I resent putting my huge 90cm wide oven on for dinner, I can't wait for it to come.

But in the meantime, I'll read through all 101 pages of this thread :)

That's brilliant, I'm sure the remoska will be great for you and your DD. I started at the beginning of the pages and copied and pasted all the tips and ideas I wanted to remember and put them all in a folder on my pc.
  • Lovely easy meal tonight - picking up on a comment someone made on the thread about using foil parcels.

I did some roast veg (potato, onion, carrot, sweet potato) and then on top a foil parcel with a chicken breast wrapped in a rasher, a thinly sliced giant mushroom, juice of a lemon and a squeeze of lazy coriander from a tube. was about 35 mins in all and really delicious.

I think this is my favourite type of meal in the Remoska, just throw it all in and you've got your whole meal in one pot.

Maybe, but I don't go to the butchers for a loaf.
There's more than one place to shop.
If you can't find the information on here...
    LOOK SOMEWHERE ELSE!
Thank you for your post Shortlegs. I am so glad that the MSE regulars usually come through which is why I usually post here, it tends to be what most people do, is to post a question for the advice of the lovely folks here. Perhaps I would rather ask here where I know people are friendly and have tons of experience. Block caps is rather rude you know.
  • Not sure this is the best forum for keeping recipes together as all messages are merged. Have to trawl through every page!

    This is moneysavingexpert.com...
There is a whole section of indexed recipes on the MoneySaving Oldstyle forum.

Thanks Mudgekin - what I've liked about this thread (and all other OS ones) is that people are kind, friendly and non-judgemental, even if you ask a really silly question. Long may it continue

That sounds lovely. And I must have missed the suggestion about foil parcels.... I don't really like my veg to be soaked in meat/fish juices so this sounds like a fab idea for me - thanks! :T :)

Interestingly of the last ten pages on this forum, approx 50% of the messages are from just five people...

Have you considered that these 5 people have had their Remoska's for a while and are in a good position to be able to help the rest of us?

I know I have had lots of useful help and advice from various people on this thread since buying my Moska.
