Hi, well tea was a resounding success in the Remoska.
I found a stack of those foil containers ala takeaway style that I bought years ago but never got round to using.:D
Anyway in one I put some curry sauce and leftover chicken in one, filled right to the top. The other I did one part rice to two parts boiling water.
30 mins later, viola, perfectly cooked chicken curry and rice. Minimal effort, hardly any washing up and not a lot of electricity at all.:D
In the grand.
I'm loving it.DFW Nerd 267. DEBT FREE 11.06.08

has lakeland taken off the standard remoska?I can only see the grand and the baby one.
Been lusting after one for ages but not sure how much use it would get and when I go and try to get one, it's off the website. :rotfl:0 -

Hi, in their new catalogue the standard Remoska is code no 2511 at £89.99, but you are right, when I search the site, it isn't there.
If you want to order one, phone Lakeland on 015394 88100.
Are you sure you want the standard. There are only two of us so I bought a standard, but wish I had spent the extra £20 and bought the Grand - mine won't cook a large pizza, large chicken, or two ready meals side by side. You're only young once, but you can be immature forever0 -
Morning all
Well yesterday I wanted shepherds pie -so I made the meat base in the remoska, then removed half as there are only 2 of us. I was unsure if making shepherds pie in the 1/2 pan (standard) would be enough for 2-it came right up to the top, and I did cauli n broccoli cheese in the 2nd 1/2 pan
When I served it we actually found it was too much for us  and we aren't dainty little things either.. so next time -I won't bring it right up to the top
Today im turning the other half of the meat into an italian cobbler..
Have 2 cakes of bread proving in there already -and im going to have a bash at concocting cakes at the weekend -if i have shaken off this bloomin cold
I debated for ages about getting the standard or grande one... I usually grab the biggest of everything-but decided that as there are only 2 of us -I would go for the standard as it uses less power -and so far it has been plenty big enough :T although I have to admit that having a 2nd free one is a super bonus -as it means on a day to day basis I can use the standard for me n hubby -but if I have call to cook for more I can get the 2nd one out -not that I have had to yet :j ....

Hi Mrs M,
Am I reading your post correctly?
Did you use 2 of the seperator pans at the same rime in your standard moska?
When I rang Lakeland they said 2 would not fit in side by side.
It would be wonderful if they would. I am veggie and OH is not. To do 2 dishes would be a great help. I have concocted a second from a foil container but I worry that it scratch the sides of the pan.Thank you for this site :jNow OH and I are both retired, MSE is a Godsend0 -
Hi muppet
Yep, I have 2 seperators and they fit.... The only thing is that the lid sits a wee bit proud -but if you sit the lid on so that the handle is in line with where the 2 straight edges of the seperators meet -then the lid is perfectly stable-If that doesnt make sense I will get a photo for you
When I first switched it on I did worry that the heat would escape -but it must have been snug enough as I went and felt the worktop and put my hand near the lid-and there was no heat escaping-and the dinner cooked just as quickly :j
Im going to use a silicone liner in the pan when I use both at once -just to be sure I don't scratch the bottom pan -but It was fine yesterday -and they are easy enough to get out as the straight edge has corners that are slightly rounded -so you get a little gap to get them out:D-6 -8 -3 -1.5 -2.5 -3 -1.5-3.50
