I presume the £250 regular saver, see Regular Savings thread.warringtonmcfc wrote: »What is their new 5% deal?Dagobert0 -
£50 deposited in each of mine and my wives account a couple of days ago. £100 profit for saving £100 a month, can't be bad. As OH is a non tax payer we are off to Halifax for the 5% RS now!!The common law of business balance prohibits paying a little and getting a lot. If you deal with the lowest bidder, it is well to add something for the risk you run, and if you do that you will have enough to pay for something better.0

My £50 credit has gone in = I've now got an appt tomorrow to transfer the same standing order to their new 5% deal and hopefully to get a limited edition piggy!
Many thanks to MSE = this should be post of the month retrospectively!
When I went into my local branch last week and opened a Reg Saver as did the wife we were told the Piggy was only given if you did some other business with them. e.g Moved your House or Car insurance or some other way that they might make money out of you.3.795 kWp Solar PV System. Just called Natwest who said my £50 would go in on 30th September (my 12th payment went through on 4th August) so looks as if those who got paid quickly were the lucky ones!0

According to the screen print I took when I opened this account, NatWest stated "we will pay £50 cash into your savings account within 1 month after 12 consecutive monthly payments of at least £100 have been made". My last payment was made on the 3rd August, so if I don't get my £50 by 3rd September, I hope they've got a good explanation why.0 -

I'll be interested to hear how you get on. If you can post on here when you get yours I'd be grateful.
