Think this might help - 30 day contracts SIM only deals
http://forums.moneysavingexpert.com/showthread.html?t=1026701
The two outstanding offers at the moment are the Dolphin 10 (150 mins/300 texts and unltd evening and w/e texts) and Racoon 10(225mins/100 texts and unltd landlind calls evening and w/e) for £10 a month and Cashbackings will give you £50 cashback - so effectively free for 5 months.0 -
I'm looking for a SIM only PAYG price comparison website. Yes I have looked around all the Mob-comparison sites but all PAYG comparisons are with a new phone.
I don't want or need a new phone, I've got a Pocket PC Phone. I'm not a big user of air time, 30mins and 10 texts and month or about £7-8 on my old Orange PAYG SIM.
I want to see if I can get a better deal else where, but can not find info on a simple SIM only PAYG tariff with no phone.
There are any number of PAYG SIMs on the mkt - all suited to different needs.
The cheapest at present on a flat rate is 3 at 12 a min or text.
Other good deals - Tesco where its 10p a minute to five favourite numbers.
Asda is 16p for the first 3 minutes of the day then 8p a min.
Virgin is 15p a minute for first 5 minutes then next five free - Daily Bonus tariff.
As you see it get quite complex - but simple if you know what you want.
As you're a light user (sub £10 a month) could I suggest that you go for the Orange Racoon £10 - you get 225mins and 100 texts plus free landline calls after 7 each evening and free all weekend. If you use a cashback site - Cashbackking offer £50 and Quidco £30 - so effectively this could be free for 5 months.
This is a 30 day SIM only contract.
It may seem a strange suggestion if you're only paying £7 or £8 pcm to suggest paying £10 but the cashback means that it'll be free.:T0 -
I've just been looking for the same thing as OP - a PAYG sim only, I'm looking at the Canary on PAYG with 120mins for £10 - where is the £10 Racoon offer you mention?
The Racoon contract that offers 225mins is £28 a month.
PAYG sims only offer £5 on Quidco.0 -

Just happened to be looking as you posted.
The SIMs that I referred to are 30 day contract SIMs - you were looking at the PAYG SIMs
The link for the PAYG 30 day contract SIM (known as PAYM on Quidco clearly marked as £30)
http://shop.orange.co.uk/shop/paymsim
If you're a member of Quidco - you can go through Cashbackkings and they will waiver the £5 fee - so you end up with £50 rather than Quidco's £30.

Hi all, I got questions
For vodafone 600 mins anytime £20, Is it to any network? or only to vodafone?
Do they do credit check for this sim only deal?
Last question is... If I cancel contract after 4 months (to be able to get £90 from quidco) and
sign up for the same deal after that, will I be able to get another £90 cashback again from quidco?
Thanks for the OP, I find these deals are better than 12, 18, 24 months contracts. It's like we get free line rental
every month. (only if quidco gives us cash back everytime we sign up)

Well this depends on if he wants to use the Blackberry push-email services. Its an extra cost anyway, but some networks won't allow an unlocked phone from another network to use their push services
hi ive really struggled to get my blackberry 8120 unlocked, ripped off twice using companies that i googled, all i got was a email teling me to go down the market and unocked...... i paid a fiver for that!!Listen to what people say, but watch what people what people do!!0 -
If you sign up then ask for your PAC I bet they'd offer you a really good deal with phone included for £20 p/m to stay with them. You just have to see the retention threads to see how desparate the networks are to keep existing customers.mazdaspring wrote: »Thanks for the OP, I find these deals are better than 12, 18, 24 months contracts.Cheers,0
