Mitchum Antiperspirant deodorant in 150ml cans has been reduced from £1.99 to 53p a can.

The offer is on the fragrance free and powder fresh. As after the person in front of me got them I left the queue and went and had a look.

yeah well this c/s had face like hitler i could see it was trouble, too much pushing ma luck and big shops i was takin the mick a bit, i got £10 worth points on still too, first one i have come across that bothered much. I will use another boots 4 abit but she had my number to manager. do u think can get done 4 buyin coupons off ebay...

Yes, you could get busted for using coupons off eBay or parenting club ones if you don't have kids, or even loads of PC ones if you do have kids but you have too many coupons. I would cancel that card and get a new one. I'd use a different address if possible, like a relatives or something.

Broclo: Hiding the glitches is a good idea, but when it comes to using the baby expert coupons, buying extra stuff to take back later may not be a good idea unless you do it without the receipt. There is a lot going on with the receipt when you use two expert coupons, and that might draw even more attention when you do the return.

Yup, it's the same in my store, none is reduced.

    Bio Oil lovers,

Bio Oil is reduced from £8.99 to £7.99 (60ml) and the bigger bottles are reduced about £2-£3 each.

Saw Bio-oil this morning on special in Wilkinsons for £6.99 but did not notice what size bottle though, sorry.

Yes the SEL had 53p on it and in tiny writing above it had £1.99 with a line through it.

Two of the boots I haunt are about 7 miles apart and both had the offer on as well as the charlie secret body spray. Manged to get two and it said link save. But took no money off. As they are on offer at 2 for £2 but the amount I had only came to 90p which I paid for in points. And it smells nice And I got a survey:T even though I paid in points.

Offer - Buy any botanic facial care range get Botanic facial Wipe free (worth £3.49)

I tried to ask SA to put the whole thing through at the same tiem but she said she had to do one at a time otherwise I would get only 1 free facial wipe so I cannot maximize my tripoint reward.

Rubbish about only getting one lot of facial wipes free at a time. Not going to tell you how I know but I know ;) It is one free per botanics item not one free per transaction.

Not sure if works any other way but put the botanics you are paying for through first then the wipes.

Oxford City Centre - found the Huggies Starter Boxes upstairs, clearly labelled on the shelf at £2.50.

SA was surprised and asked ME if they were on offer :rotfl:
(I was thinking "which one of us works for Boots  ")

Was just reading about that. It does seem a little heavy handed and probably scared the living daylights out of the girl - and frankly I'd probably be mad as hell if it was my daughter, but...

I'm sick to death of buying products from Boots only to get them home and find they've been 'fiddled' with. Or want to buy something only to find that out of the 6 or 7 on the shelf, all have been opened or tested or bits removed. The young lady should've known not to test a nail varnish - she wasn't a todler after all - and how exactly are Boots supposed to recoup the losses sustained by all these products being thrown out because they've been soiled - apart from raising the prices?

I suppose it's a case of damned if they do (make a stand) and damned if they don't. Obviously dramatised at least a little by the Mail - I'll bet the security guard just took her to an office, the police were probably informed and parents contacted.

    (sorry - rant over :o )

a couple of the stores I frequent seal all their cosmetic items with cellotape. I wish all stores did this. I once saw a lady paint her nails - both hands - under the nose of the SA, and she didn't say a work. It wasn't a tester she was using either:mad: I had to bite my tongue!!

I am dead worried about the lady who had her card taken off her and lost her points, don't want mine to disappear!
I have £102 in points and went to look at cameras today in view of getting one.
I said I wanted to spend my points quick because a 'friend of a friend' had had her card taken off her.
SA said that only happens when folk have taken stuff back without receipts regularly in order to keep the points.
Im not saying this is what happened to the OP but it has put my mind at rest.
SA encouraged me to go to ACM to boost my points!!
