Smiley sets that were £5 odd and went through at £1.40 were at Blackett St, Newcastle (entrance to Eldon Square) on a stand at the end of the food aisle with old no7 gwp's etc
Bah those are the ones I saw! Silly me, hopefully they'll reduce the ones in the other newcastle stores.
;) One of these days these boots are gonna walk all over you! ;)

sorry for quoting x2, but I have the same reaction with the P&P, glad i'm not the only one!, I asked my mum (who used to be a beauty consultant) and she said its probably because my skin is still abit young for serums etc as I still have quite oily skin (i'm 35 btw and I love my mum for saying i'm too young). Would love to know if anyone has found an alternative to P&P (from boots obviously lol) as I do like the way it makes my skin look more even.
    thanks in advance

I like the mens (tested stuff I got for my dad whilst staying :rotfl: ) as it is really lightweight :D and does not irritate at all! Sure palice will know a lightweight non oily one though that will not block pores etc :D

Never even seen it in any Boots stores near me.....
"Buy me, Lady", said the frock, "and I will make you into a BEAUTIFUL & WHOLE & COMPLETE human being".
"Do not be silly", said the Man, "for a frock alone cannot do that".
"True", said the Lady, "I will have the shoes and the bag as well".

    Hi everyone

Well I am a littlle bit upset - well devasted to be honest - I sorted out all my vouchers (I posted a list of them last week I think) and I left them to one side. I also left to one side out of date vouchers to be shredded.

Yes you can guess what happened next. The in date vouchers all gone - shredded and I was left with a lovely pile of out of date ones :eek:

I had 2 sets of expert vouchers (thought I had one) and then got another mailing through with all new ones in - can't even remember what they were

Is there anyone on here who has allot of spare vouchers going? I would really appreciate it if you had and were willing to send them to me.

I would gladly swop with some products - Elle MAcPherson, JF Serum's etc.

Thanking you all in advance :D:D
I did exactly the same..mine went for recycling not shredding though but had been collected before I noticed...don't feel so bad now I know I'm not the only one !
This is a do-it-yourself test for paranoia: you know you've got it when you can't think of anything that's your fault.

The olay regenerist serum is very good (I would go for the fragrance free version) and I think it's £5 off at the moment. Also if you have the £5 voucher from the max factor GWP there's another fiver off, bringing it down to £12.50. I'll copy the review so you can see if it sounds right for you:
Regenerist Daily Regenerating Serum is a silky, silicone-based serum that contains a nice complement of water-binding agents and antioxidants. It contains approximately 2% to 3% niacinamide, and, in this amount, it can increase the skin’s ceramide and fatty acid content as well as have anti-inflammatory action (Source: Journal of Cosmetic Dermatology, April 2004, pages 88–93). When it comes to niacinamide being able to affect aging (wrinkled) or sun-damaged (also discolored) skin, research points to a concentration of 5% as necessary to notice any improvement in skin texture and color that’s consistent with what is typically seen in young skin (Source: D. L. Bissett, J. E. Oblong, A. Saud, and M. Levine, “Topical niacinamide provides improvements in aging human facial skin,” presented at the 60th Annual Meeting of the American Academy of Dermatology, 2002).

Olay claims the palmitoyl pentapeptide-3 this contains can regenerate and intensely hydrate skin. However, palmitoyl pentapeptide-3 (also known as Matrixyl) is present in this product at less than 1%, and its value for skin is documented only by Sederma, the company that sells it. As it turns out, Sederma makes lots of peptides, and makes increasingly exaggerated claims about curing every skin-care woe imaginable. Of course, none of this is published research, but that doesn’t stop Sederma or any of the numerous cosmetics companies from using their ingredients. In reality, it’s the various types of silicones that really give this product its elegant texture and make skin feel unbelievably silky. Regenerist Daily Regenerating Serum won’t give aging skin a new lease on life, but it would be a very good serum-type moisturizer for normal to slightly oily skin.

I would say though, that if your skin is really oily you may not even need a moisturiser - this link is quite helpful. A serum is a much lighter version of a moisturiser and is much better for oily skin in general. There is a massive wealth of information to be found here including how to treat oily skin.

Just reading everybodys comments regarding the 12 year old and nailpolish story and I am 50/50 about it too.I do think Boots reaction was a bit over the top but on the other hand I am also annoyed when I buy lipgloss or eyeshadow and you find a fingermark in it when you get home, especially with 17 or bourjois makeup -shrink wrapping cosmetics would help..It could have all been handled in a better manner and it must have been a frightening time for the girl involved, alot of bootsers have had nasty experiences with SA's and some have even been accused of shoplifting when it is clearly not true & at times like that any person whether child or adult would get panicky , upset embarassed and scared especially when police is involved.
Earlier today in s****drug I saw an old lady take a good dollop of Olay moisturiser and it didn't look like it was the first time more like a regular routine!
    Love can tame the wildest
