Is this the same company that twice was featured on watchdog for misleading its customers into thinking they are from sky?
Well what becky.o said is true that "her" company was only incorporated this month as a new company. But the scammers that Watchdog featured and others do tend to close and open new companies but do the same thing and run by the same people. Maybe we should give becky.o benefit of the doubt and assume it's a complete coincidence that all these companies (including "hers") are all in West Sussex."She is quite the oddball. Did you notice how she didn't even get excited when she saw this original ZX-81?"

Quite possibly. Some of the companies have been closed down, only to be started up again under different names. According to the Watchdog programme there's a wretched hive of scum and villainy that all these companies operate out of. And they apparently all use the same tactics.0 -
I had a call from one of these firms last night, calling "from Sky". When I questioned was he actually from Sky, he said he was calling "on behalf of Sky". So I asked his company name, and he just repeated he was calling on behalf of Sky. I terminated the call and told him why; if he can't tell me who he represents, I am not going to waste my private time (on a Sunday evening) trying to establish his company name.
My Sky installation was in January 06 and this is the first call I've had from one of these people, I don't suppose it will be the last.0 -
Why bother. Sky charge a fixed price of £65 ALL IN, so you box would need to break down more often that every 17 months to be worth while at £4 a month... Doesn't sound worth it to me...
Besides, IMHO if the box breaks and Sky don't fix it for free then they lose a customer... Sky agreed with me last week and waived the £65 fee as they would rather have a customer paying full package subs then lose them over a box0 -
this thread should be closed very soon because its against the law.I just thought I would let everyone know that sky...make their money by...charging their customers a £65 call out charge and then repair and replacement fees on top to fix the equipment.0

And Virgin Cola! I'm sorry to hear the rabbit lady did'nt do her homework properly before she made these illegal slanderous suggestions. You can go legal if you feel it has effected your business Becky. My friend went through a similar thing and sued the person for £15000 because he lost customers as a direct result of slanderous comments. It's a shame people are so quick to assume the worst now days.I hope you get this sorted soon. all the best with Digital Repair plan Ltd.
I do not need a repair plan and I am registered with TPS. One wonders when interrogating my phone at home, i am rang by the DRP scammers.
No I do not need your advice on my sky+ box, if it should fail, the nice man from sky will fix it for me at a flat rate (£65) and then guarantee it for another year. Ring me if you can beat that, oh, and the call out is about 1 in 6 years as well
I wait for your answers0 -

Becky can you beat the offer I pay at sky. £65 every six years, that is less than £11 a year or less than £1 a month.
One suggest the Cola drinker in your call centre cannot beat that quote, therefore we take it that my previous offer to sue remains valid.0
