Santa land - Earls Court London in December

John You said.RESULT!!!! Just received a letter from Santa Land promising a full refund to my credit card. Now that's what I call a christmas present..... Thanks to all above for your comments and suggestions.... Happy New Year
Have you actually seen the money?.
I sent my claim form before christmas and have heard nothing yet.0 -
Well I will have to wait for my credit card statement which comes around the 20th of each month before I can be 100% sure. I sent my claim form and after a few days I recieved a letter from Santa Land apologising for the event not being up to standard and stating that my credit card will be refunded for the full cost of the tickets.
I can't see why they would send me a letter saying they would give me a full refund and then change their minds. Will have to wait and see, but I'm pretty confident I will see the refund on my next statement.
Good luck to the rest of you who have complained.0 -
I've had the emails and the letter from santaland saying that my comments will be dealt with soon.... but no other letters and certainly no mention of credit cards etc.... what was the time gap between your emails and actually getting the refund john01727?0

I emailed guy.zitter and helpline@dailymail.co.uk on the 30th Dec 05 saying how disappointed I was with the Daily Mail being associated with such an over hyped and misleading advert and asked for a full refund. Received my complaint form and a letter saying I would get a full refund. This came via email on the same day (The letter stated that Daily mail had passed my email onto them).
I filled in the complaint form with all info required plus the booking ref numbers and sent it back by post on Tuesday 2nd Jan (I sent it by post as I find people tend to ignore/delete/lose emails and pay more attention to a normal letter - don't know why just a feeling I have). Received a letter from Santa Land on the 6th Jan saying my credit card has been credited with the full amount.
If they have credited my card then their complaint dept deserves an award as it's a lot better organised and managed than the rest of SantaLand05 ever was (in my case anyway).
Hope this helps....0 -
Just checked my credit card statement via phone and can confirm a full refund.0

I just checked my CC statement, and I appear to have been given a full refund aswell.. Great stuff.
Finally something good came out of this "christmas experience". 0 -
Hurrah! Got a letter from santaland saying that they've refunded the money back to my credit card.... and actually given more than we paid in the first place! If only the event had been as efficient as their customer services department!

I have had to chase my refund via email because my refund form could not be found. 24hrs after I resent form I've had an email stating card has been refunded.
Somebody stated earlier in the thread about dmg and trend and culture being investigated by the Daily Mail does anyone know if this has happened.0 -
Bryan Leaker - the operations director of Trend & Culture "no longer works for the company" apparently.
Jumped or pushed??? I'll let you all make your own mind up but either way, good riddance.
I've got my full refund but am now claiming my coat hanging costs and travel costs ... should be fun.0
