XP machine with direct cable connection to router. Installed 2 Windows updates tonight after getting warning pop up. Now I cannot connect to the internet via IE or Firefox.
Tried resetting router, but this isn't the problem, cos typing this on Eee PC via wireless connection.
Could it be the Windows updates? Can it be undone?

Start, All programs, Accessories, System Tools, System Restore. Follow the prompts and select an appropriate date/time to restore back to."She is quite the oddball. Did you notice how she didn't even get excited when she saw this original ZX-81?"

Got excited when I read the above but it didn't work for me.
For some reason, my WiFi has been disabled and I can't connect to the web.
It's Intel (R) Pro/Wireless. Can anyone help please?
Many thanks

I take it that your wireless problem is on a laptop. In which case you could either try the unction button combination to re-enable it (fn+F8 on some laptops) or, if you have one, the physical switch on the machine.
If you say what machine you have, may be help more.0 -
My laptop is a dell XPS M1210. It says to do a function and F2, I did that but nothing happened.0

Uninstall update KB951748 to cure the problem.
No need to restore. Just add/remove programs then select KB9517480
