Warm cake is so delicious. Electra - makes cakes is a whole lot less fuss than people pretend.

    1. Have a magimix or similar and keep it out
    2. Ensure you always have flour (I have plain plus baking powder), caster sugar, honey, marg/butter and eggs in store.
    3. Start with some really simple cakes

I can get a cake in the tins and in the AGA in 5 minutes - it is lucky having an AGA as it is always hot. Now go bake girl!

number 1 job.. offloading.. *rant ON*
I hate my MIL!!!!!!!!!!! I have decided.. She is not added to my hit list but I detest every fibre of that womans baggage!!
Hubby is going away today and I phoned him to ask him something and tell him I have got him a new razor etc.. all vitally important stuff interrupting his shopping for .. anyway she trolls up (yes trolls not strolls) and stops to chat.. meanwhile he is talking to me as we were just getting off the phone anyway as I was at school.. and she stomps off in a huff because he didn't drop the phone and talk immediately. SO.. what REALLY f***e dme off was he yelled at me to get off the phone and chased after her.. THEN.. he rang me back and proceeded to yell at me because WIL told him he is too thin and she is really worried about him.. she is so f***ing worried she has seen him ONCE this year.. today was the second time.. last time was his aunts funeral.. he hasn't actually lost any weight in MONTHS prior so today. (he is 5'11 and 11.5 stone = BMI 22.5) I ALWAYS get it in the neck every single time she speaks to him.. I really look forward to her not being in our lives any more.. yes I know that is a terrible thing to say but all she ever does is cause trouble then blame everyone but herself... I truly detest the lot of them... ok *rant OFF*

I collected €60 for hubby from the PO (I just had to look up how to do a '€ on my ancient ketboard.. TADA!! lol I have 1 parcel to post.. I'll go do that in a bit.

Laundry needs to come in as the rain clouds are blowing in my direction.

Dusty After your original post you inspired me to make fairy cakes and they actually turned out alright.
I posted on here a while back reference out of date food in the cupboards etc. I have been trying to lower our food bill along with making things from scratch other than jars etc. Anyway today I used some of the flour and caster sugar that is least a year old! I decided to chuck out the butter as it smelt funny.

The problem I have is my lo is home all day with me and anything that I want to do becomes a chore. Can't wait until he is in school. :D
