Back from coffee with one of my friends from work, the other could not make it as she was still at the hospital with her mum. Her mum was due an op on her knee but had a cup of tea at 5.30  so could not be taken down to theatre first thing. So my other friend was ever so slightly  we are keeping our fingers crossed that they reschedule for later today.

Just grabbing a bite to eat and then fetching W from school for the 2nd half of his assessment at the CDC. He got bored the other week and they could not complete it but from what they have seen so far there are no major concerns and whist there are slight development delays he should catch up over time. Will get formal feed back at a review meeting in school on the last day of term.

Hugs to all those with LO's having ops this week and hugs to everyone else as well ;)

On another subject this may well be too much information but I've just had a "show" (am 38 weeks pregnant), which has followed bad cramps last night which kept me awake for a couple of hours. I am hoping this may be the start of things. What do you guys think? Any experiences you can share on a public forum?

Ooooo sounds like another fly baby is about to arrive :D Can't really help you as with both of ours I just woke up having contractions 5 mins apart. Never had a show and both times they had to break my waters at the hospital. If this is it then I hope it is as quick and pain free as possible.

    Hi

I suppose i'd better post my list:rolleyes: . I've been to the market this morning for fruit & veg, taken a bag of stuff to the charity shop and put my milk bottles into the recycling bin. I now have to finish my dailies and work my way through my list.

Ds2 has got man flu and is so miserable i'm hoping he'll have a sleep. He spent 15 mins this morning saying no over and over again:rolleyes: . Ds1 has his induction for secondary school today, i think i was more nervous than he was.

Asda shopping delivered and put away. Third load of washing on the line - we had a short sharp shower but now it's sunny and windy again and it's almost dry. Cut the front grass. Dinner cooking now.

Oooooh beany - it might be the start. I think I had my show the day before DS put in an appearance. Never had one with DD - she was in no rush and nothing has changed there.

Lil_me - I remember thinking when the little lad in my son's class was about 3 and he beat up a child at toddler group (resulting in hospital treatment!!) that if his mum never told him it was wrong how would he learn. If I could have smuggled him away then!!!!

Going to walk to post office and hope it doesn't pour down. Then i'd better start with my list. Pigpen...are you sure you don't need to lie down???? xx

As for flying.....I posted my list but not really done much. Went to see DS's old childminder for a few hours and am going to try and nap when he does so that'll be this afternoons job.

Off for a cuppa and some lunch

I had a show with my DD and then 5 days later my waters broke. Then 2 days after that I had my little baby.:D

Although I do know other people that have had a show then had baby with 24 hours.
