Oh, ok then. To have been a fly on the wall when he told you;)
I'm working off my own list today, done a fair amount already. Just going to have some food before we need to go to the hospital. Leaving about midday hopefully, she is second on the surgical list so will probably be taken about 2pm.

Pigpen- I don't know how you can always sound so upbeat no matter what things get thrown at you.

Do you think that she really is pregnant or maybe just playing games?

I don't know.. time will tell.. obviously.. but so long as it isn't his (which at the moment we have no reason to think it is) I don't mind.. actually.. I probably wouldn't mind anyway.. a baby I can deal with.. it can be handled one way or another.. I am more concerned about the fact she appears to not be spending any time at home.. she has been staying at friends houses, ours.. goodness knows where so I am wondering if she has been kicked out and that is what they are not telling me.. I don't think the streets are a safe place for a 16 year old to be sleeping.. regardless of gender..

The positive side.. at least she won't get pregnant!!

I hope LO's op today goes well and she is soon running about being naughty as she should be.. and everyone elses LO's who are up for ops.

pigpen - agree with you on the girl not sleeping on the streeets. Two girls in DD's year have been thrown out by parents over last few months - and they've been staying with a rota of friends. It just seems so incredible that the parents can be so irresponsible. I know they can be mega pains in the neck, but they are your pains in the neck!
Hope that the induction at college goes well.

G&B - very best wishes for your DD.

I'm not doing the bathroom today (throw what you like at me pigpen!) I think I'll do the living room. Actually, as the sun is shining I shall go to the allotment instead and do some weeding.

Serena you live in the next county to me and we have had horrid rain since about 8.30 this morning. Really strange isn't it? My god that makes me sound so boring

Agree with you Pigpen about not safe for the girl to be on the streets.

Quite pleased with doing the bathroom today as DS his at playschool this morning as he is having a session at the BIG school he is going to. he is so excited.

    Morning all

As today is supposed to be the best of the week weatherwise, I stripped my bed and I've washed and dried two loads already so now I've stripped DD's bed and that's in the machine. Quickly cut the back grass in between loads. Waiting for Asda delivery soon.

Also dusted and vacuumed all the bedrooms, landing and bathroom/toilet. Dusted living room and vacuumed right through downstairs and did the stairs. So I should be able to have a fairly lazy day tomorrow! In the rain....

I'm hoping to get the front grass done later but if I try now I might miss the Asda van (they come to the back).

Hope all the LOs in hospital are OK.

I did the bathroom last night lalalala :rotfl: **pretends hasn't seen study/pc area yet**

I didn't get kicked out by the way, I just can't be in the same room or house as my mother or sister for very long, hence the concern about my Mother possibly needing to stay here, dreading it but she knows she can if she needs to.

Nice weather didn't last long, I like having the early warning system of a conservatory that clatters when even tiny spots of rain hits it. It keeps getting sunny then raining, then sunny then raining, so going to throw it on the airers then if it stays nice for a decent length of time I will put them outside.

Decided to start with the sitting room because it's depressing, I hate this room being untidy the most, can't get in touch with caravan storage yet so may aswell do something, oh and in the middle of that I need to help DP refill the aircon gas on my car which needs more gas in it (it's a right faff on!)
One day I might be more organised...........

  • its all go on here this morning!!

Pigpen - I think I would have to be picked up off the floor if my ds told me something like that over the phone. I don't know how how you cope with it. Luckily ds is only 2 so it'll be a while before I have to deal with things like that!!

On another subject this may well be too much information but I've just had a "show" (am 38 weeks pregnant), which has followed bad cramps last night which kept me awake for a couple of hours. I am hoping this may be the start of things. What do you guys think? Any experiences you can share on a public forum?

As for flying.....I posted my list but not really done much. Went to see DS's old childminder for a few hours and am going to try and nap when he does so that'll be this afternoons job.

Off for a cuppa and some lunch
