shell - hugs, wondered where you'd been. what a lot to have to deal with.
nicki - keep going, we all have those times when we wish we'd made other choices. I went to a top rated uni but I'm still in a relatively low paid job up to a lot of my friends - but I am happier. I remember when I did my studie son children & divorce (my parents were divorced too) I cried and cried but in the end it helps

hugs and good wished to all those with little ones going into hospital - i admire you all.

I had a really long day at work - left home at 7.30 and back at 9pm with no real break and awful travel both ways but if that's the worst for me i can cope with it. thankfully I can leave about 9.30 in the morning so not too bad.

Changed the bed in the end last night, so glad of that now. DH is studying and i've been chilling in front of the tv since i got in, now going to put the bins out. I'm doing more than usual in the house at the mo (or should i say DH is doing less) but he is studying which will help our long term plans so I can't complain!

shell, big hugs honey, I had wondered where you were, what an awful time for you all.
Ches hope you feel better soon x
rach, however strange it seems I cried when my parents divorced, last year, amazing how if effects you even when you are older. Well done for taking some relax time, those days sound really long with all that travelling.
boddy hope you feel better in the morning x
AnWsMum helloooo over there :) you shouldn't be so nosey (like me) it'd save you catching up.....:rotfl:

Mudbath it's such an awful shame when things like that happen, that parents let a child down so badly they turn out the same. I always want to steal them and try to help them :o I can't help it, it's the way I am. From being 16 (I left home early) I ended up 'adopting' many let down by either families or the system, I got called 'Mam' as a pet name from a very early age, but I know people aren't born evil and faught through it with them to in reality save them from prison, or reoffending, even now I tend to get overinvolved (currently with parents of a very young alcholic. People who can't look after their kids and provide them with a good enough upbringing to be decent citizens shouldn't be allowed to have them IMO. I will openly admit there are other triggers apart from parenting which cause issues for children, some can't even handle the lighting in a class room, but when it is more than evident that poor parenting is the cause of someone loosing his life to crime, it's very upsetting and makes me so angry.

Boys bathed, dinner for DP and I made and eaten (was a bit of a suprise, boxes mixed up in the freezer and we ended up with chilli instead) DW filled, washers on, I now need to go find chocolate!
One day I might be more organised...........

Dust surfaces & make sure no cobwebs..
    30 minutes floordrobe clearance

Sort 10 things from your wardrobe (or someone elses) that you can get rid of... and a pair of shoes only counts as one thing! likewise socks!
Clear a hotspot.. or spend 15 minutes clearing one.
Thought I'd managed more than this today, never mind it will get carried forward to tomorrow.

Just catching up before I crawl into my pit.

Shell seriously large hugs are being sent your way. You must all be feeling really awful - particularly as your Mum was with you and not over in Spain. (And I don't mean that if someone is there that they will feel less awful.... but you know what I mean). Just take it a day at a time. And talk to your Mum as often as you can afford to. It sounds from your post that you're the only child which will make it doubly hard. (I'm one of four so when Mum died and then Dad died 10 years later, us siblings at least had each other to lean on).

I was going to post about how I'd watched the C4 documentary on the 7/7 bombings in London just now and how it brought back my feelings and experiences about when I was in the thick of the failed bombings in London two weeks later. But I won't do that now. That is in the past. It was horrible at the time but I survived it. We are living in the present. We (crass as it may sound) all need to look forward as best we can and take each day as it comes and not dwell on things that have or have not happened.

We need to take each day as it comes. There will be bricks, there will be rainbows, there will be angels there will be devils. Whatever our day, when we wake up in the morning, brings, we need to live it, cope with it, learn by it and accept it.

Night night ladies - my dearest wish at this second in time is that you all have a peaceful and restful nights sleep

    Evening all

Shell - my huges hugs to you hun. Loosing my Dad was tough so I can feel you pain. I hope your Mum finds her way through the journey ahead x

Soappie - there was a huge rainbow this evening here and we all stood in awe. You are doing well at being that leading lady

Still battling away at trust tax stuff. Kids were up until 10:00 doing key assessments - we all so need summer break. Another 15 minutes and I hope to have it cracked and start the bedtime routine.

Shell - hugs to you and your Mum, thinking of you

Hope all the ops this week go well, positive thoughts for you all and for those recovering

May be we need to do a flylady positive health vibe and hope it is as successful as our money mantra that worked so well a couple of months back.

Pigpen - how did the party go? Do the carpets need tackling again!?!
Don't put it down, put it away - thanks Valli
