Reading what you have cut and pasted, it looks to me as though paypal will keep the seller's account frozen and try to recover the rest of the funds for you. That's how it normally works.MEMBER02 wrote:So that means as he is still selling, all future payments he receives through paypal will be refunded to myself?0 -
If he doesn't have the cash in his account, then he won't put any more in. I got a message saying that they can't always get funds so the seller just packed up and left (left me without the money). He must have withdrawn it but paypal won't take it from his bank account "by force"MEMBER02 wrote:So that means as he is still selling, all future payments he receives through paypal will be refunded to myself?0 -
So the added 500.00 protection does not mean anything,i thought if a seller as this protection the buyer is fully covered if things go wrong?0

Just noticed seller as withdrawn his auctions,a couple of hours ago he had 3 auctions active,he now as none, because he knows that money that goes to his paypal account will be passed to me. makes you bl--dy sick!0

Paypal will call in debt collectors to try and recover the money, but if the seller is determined not to pay, you won't get a refund. Of course, the seller will have to abandon their paypal account completely and setting up a new one would be tricky (and risky). If they're pulling down their listings, then it doesn't look good.MEMBER02 wrote:So the added 500.00 protection does not mean anything,i thought if a seller as this protection the buyer is fully covered if things go wrong?
...So, how did you fund your paypal payment?0 -

I'm a little confused though. In a paypal dispute paypal found against me and took the money out of my account, although i only had £1 odd in there so they made my account -£ but my point is the buyer got all her m oney back.
I wonder why you didn't?
Anyways, i hope this works out for you.

I've stopped using when I sell as much as possible, but I still use them for buying. It's just too tempting!0
