It was free when I had my handbag stolen?? I had to ring from a phone box as my phone was in my bag :( Has the number changed then? and to someone saying i work there.. I dont work for them I have a dear friend who does but that was after I had already brought my cover. I took mine out throught Yorkshire Bank. Just because some one actually has something nice to say about the service they have recieved does not mean that they work for the company.:p............. Just rang the number on my keyring beginning in 0808 and it worked fine then googled it to check if that is a free number and it is? So dont know where you have your info from?

  • Hello,

    Can you help me?

My 81 year old partially blind mother, just phoned me saying she has a debit on her Nat West account. She cannot confirm the amount, but she did see it was from a company called CPP.

I have been reading your forum.

Have I understood correctly? A person needs to phone CPP to activate their new credit card?

A person needs to be a UK resident to have a CPP account.

Lastly one needs to answer a series of questions which can be misunderstood, as they are hidden sales acceptance questions?

My poor mother is neither a UK resident, she has lived abroad for the last 20 years, she never activated her CC. Not phoning to activate the card she never answered these suspicious questions.

She has still been debited an unknown sum of money as she cannot see the amount, from her Nat West account.

I simply see this as an act of theft?

Do I contact the serious fraud squad, police, her bank CPP.

Can someone give me some advice please?

    Muggedoff!
