Morning friends, how are we all today? Hope we have had good weekends so far due to the weather being ok!!!!
I was hoping not to spend much at all this weekend, but had to put more petrol in and I am now really short until Thursday, ie. I have less than £1. I have food in the house, so I am ok until then and I know the cash machine will let me take money out, even though it will take me over my overdraft limit, but I havent been over it since I joined this group and I want to continue this.
Good news is that this week, I should be receiving payment of my car allowance that my last company did not pay me, so they have agreed to send a cheque for that! I really need this money!
Spent yesterday doing the Rhys Jones Memorial Walk for the little boy who was killed last year in Liverpool. He was killed less than a mile from where I live and there is still a lot of emotion regarding it! The walk was emotional too and I walked alongside his parents who were wonderful people! Its things like this that make you think they would swap places with us and be in massive debt if it meant having their child back! Just shows you that money is not everything and that our situations can be sorted.
Pondering thought!!!
Right,I will finish waffling and go and do something constructive! Will post more later guys!!!!

Hi everyone,
we have had a very grey bank holiday monday here, but did take the children to the beach and watched the surfers and kites flying, then we got three dvd rentals from blockbuster at 50p a go and watched dvd's and popcorn (home made). So a lovely day.
Tony, I know what you mean about cashflow we have overspent on our groceries this week and that has left us short on the cash front, but we will manage all being well.
Where are the others????The good you do comes back to you.DFW Long haul supporters No: 1340 -

It is certainly a slog isn't it Amy, this debtbusting business. I have my up days and down days about it all. The interest charges are the real killer. Although I have to say before I started on here I wouldn't even have been able to say what I was being charged for interest!!!
I see what you mean abou the CC charges now.... sorry just me being dim!!!
Did you get nice clothes though?;)The good you do comes back to you.DFW Long haul supporters No: 1340 -

Have a lovely time in France I hope the sun shines loads....
Well done for getting your charges back, that is brilliant. Why not allow yourself some for the wedding and then pay a chunk of the debts after that.
