Hello my virtual friends,
Good to see everyone around tonight.
Did anyone watch the programme about the canoe man that faked his death? I recorded it and have just watched it..... what an eery man he is??!!!
I was willing them to say how much debt he had that pushed him over the edge, I bet it wasn't anything this site couldn't sort out.

Hi Kel
I am good thanks. It is officially day two of school holidays in our house and we have had a lovely day. Did a mystery shop in Hawkins Bazaar today and ordinarily I would take the purchased item back, but I had my five year old with me today and just couldn't find the strength to try and explain why she wouldn't be able to keep the glow stars for her bedroom ceiling and the bubbles!! The £10 I get for doing the shop, will have to cover the £5 I spent.
Hi to RB and Tony.
My car is off the road even though I have spent nearly £450 on it since May, grrrrrr. So it is booked in tomorrow for a new water pump and coolant housing, £250 worth. I have no choice but to put this on CC, but I am going to put it on my 0%. I REALLY hope that is my lot on the car for this year. I need a chance to start building up a safety net for such things....
Anyway, I'm happy and I can't do anything about it.

Hi Ruby,
Bit of a nuisance about your car, a few years ago i had a little Pug 205, everytime I went down the road the car alarm went off, yep, had a few funny looks - needless to say I got shot of it rather sharpish !!!!. Needless to say I 'invested' and I use the term lightly, in something a little more reliable ...... xx

Hi RB,
I am currently driving an 8 yr old ford focus and I am 'squealing' down the road daily, so I know how you felt. I thought it might be something easy like the fan belt (get me, like I know what I am talking about, I have no idea). But hey!! Hopefully after tomorrow it'll be well again, I have no chance of being able to afford a newer one any day soon without BIG cr and that aint gonna happen.

How's your evening?
Evening up until now, has been a bit quiet, apart from when DD came 'screaming and shouting like a banshee' about a damn wasp in her bedroom earlier on, have been lurking at all the other posts tonight, chucked my two penneth worth in every now and again, not that it counts for much anyway, I am feeling a little more 'refreshed' now that I have been away on my hols, and my health has started to improve again - thank god !!!! xx

She was very excited and couldn't wait for Daddy to come home and put them up!!
Cars are a pain aren't they, ho hum. Although I can't imagine a car called Rosey could ever be a pain!!;)
My big aim is to save enough each month so that I can pay tax, mot etc without having to put in on cr.The good you do comes back to you.DFW Long haul supporters No: 134
