I think that it's a pretty sad indictment on poor old Mike Oldfield.
Just think, without him we probably wouldn't be suffering now from the effects of Virgin Broadband (lately rebranded Virgin Media) and has anyone else besides me been inconvenienced by Virgin Trains ?

    Hello
Does anybody have any of the 'Teach Yourself' language Cd's or books from 'The Independent' that they don't want?

    Thanks :)

Which I have to say I thought they did three months ago but presume it must have been another paper?

  • Wasn't it the middle of January when they last run this?
They were giving away postcards for the rest of the week and I remember getting them on my way to benidorm which was surprisingly in mid-January

    ******* THEY ARE !!!! *******

Just dug out the CDs from January.

The pictures of the "new" CDs on

    http://news.independent.co.uk/environment/article2154997.ece

are different to those I already have - different birds in a different layout.

Also the 7 links to audio samples of bird song on this page ARE NOT birds on the January discs.
