Evening
How are we all?
I am even more foggy brained today. The children are getting up so early that it is still dark at breakfast time!
Now dont shout at me but I havent started my citoralapram yet. Its just the thought of the side effects over the school summer hols. My current plan (and this could all change by tomorrow) is to rope in OH and my mum to help over the hols as much as poss then start the tablets in sept. inthe mean time I am going to look for some counselling. I reckon there are some "issues" that I need to deal with if I am ever going to shift this depression for good.
Life gets easier over school hols as I can avoid seeing lots of people. i basically have no friends as my self esteem is so low that I havent been able to maintain any friendships. this just sends me even more downhill and I stop taking the risk of trying to make friends. Hands up all the Billy-no-mates!

hi Steph,
Hopefully you will find this in the morning ...
I dont think you cna do much about the present situation except maybe when things have calmed down talk to him about budgetting about relatives presents ie setting a limit to what you/he can spend. Getting annoyed means that he immediately jumps to their aide and that causes an arguement between you and making it harder for you to have a reasonable discussion about it. Also if he should feel similarly about it (but doesnt like to call his relatives) it makes it more difficult for him to now backtrack (as men are never wrong :rotfl:) and refuse to spend a futune on presents for them.

Hi sf!:hello:
Well done hunnie! :j I hope you managed to enjoy the night - you should be really proud of yourself.
Just for you, sf...
Very Corny Tiffy Bit Warning!
Aren't they beautiful?
Sweetheart, we all find physical flaws with ourselves. You're not alone there, sf. It must have been a huge climax and a very emotional experience graduating last night and as with many of these events, there's the accompanying roller-coaster of emotions.
Speaking as a butterball, and someone who could give a bronze turkey and the Churchill advert dog, a good run for their money, (I jest ye not!), it's hard looking at all the glamour-pusses and not to end up wanting to get out a paper bag. I won't patronise you with false platitudes sweetie. We are what we are and can't change things in an instant but we are also our own worst critics.
Yet just like the flowers angel, it takes all the different shapes, scents, contours and colours to make a beautiful bouquet. That can be applied to a group of people and also to each part of us that makes us the person we are.
What matters hunnie, is that you graduated last night and people will remember you for your talent, for all the smiles that leave your heart and reach your eyes, for the music you created, for the fact that you never gave up, for your achievements.
THAT'S what last night was really about.
And that's what made you truly beautiful last night.
Much Love,
Tiff xxx"If you realized how powerful your thoughts are, you would never think a negative thought." ~ by Peace Pilgrim.***'You just got Tiffed!'***0 -
Morning everyone.
Congratulations on your graduation SF. It's nice seeing you post.
How are you & the boys Shaz? Are you still finding time to knit?
Hope you slept ok Steph after getting upset last night. I'm another who doesn't think you were unreasonable.
How are you QB? Hope you're ok. I'm away to Mallorca on Wed, for 3 weeks. I have masses to do before I go and still have final arrangements to make. I'll be on and off again today as have lots to do today. My hair is fine, got a lttle off and roots gone!
Hey Tiff, how are you?
D, have you thought any more about your holiday?
Earth, I don't think the side effects will be too bad. The sooner you get started the sooner you'll hopefully feel better. If you do get side effects, the shouldn't last too long.
Hope you are all ok today, Take care everyone, hope you have a good Friday.

He's already give him the game as its his birthday today he's done it behind my back as i said cant he get him a different game thats a bit cheaper.
My OH has no kids either but his sister only gives him £10 for his birthday but lets her kids have £40+ presents off him!
I need some fresh air before i go round there and give her a piece of my mind.
Steph xx
It goes a bit further than that though. People give presents because they want to make someone happy and a child of 8 is not really going to equate a present of £40 is going to take x numbers of hours to earn. He sees the game he wants the game, he wants that game not another different one. That is how children work. It probably made your OH happy to be able to give something that was wanted. Your OH is much older and will have accumulated many things so a £10 token present from his sister is not out of place. After all when one is older and working, If we really want something we tend to buy it ourselves. I dont give my sisters anything for birthdays but I give to my nephews and nieces.
What you are getting stressed over reallly is nothing and you are the one who is hurting yourself. Do you need that when it is already done and you cant turn back time. The time to be annoyed is when your OH only spends £10 on your birthday.Who I am is not important. What I do is.0 -
:hello: Everyone,
Morning! hope you are all well,I didnt sleep too good last night as I had a sore throat and I kept coughing and I had to get a strepsil to have and have a hot drink,I was up at 4.30am:eek: I stayed up for an hour or so then I managed to go back to bed to sleep and I didnt wake again until 8.30amI rang my parents
I am resting my voice today as I want to be ok for wednesday but if my throat is still sore, mum told me not to sing or I will strain my voice before I go to see Kylie and I dont want that to happen.
I won a Leo Sayer cd today called Dont wait until tomorrow and I am very delighted,it came all the way from Australia too
*hugs* to those that need one
love and light,
